So my son's 8 years old abt 65 lbs and these were SNUG....I'll hv 2 size up but they are so light and thin and airy but definitely comfortable and they wash well with no shrinkage nor any lint buildup. Definitely adding these to the favorites list. The only catch is if you want a thicker material for winter weather these are not it but for the hotter months they are very cooling.
