I have previously bought this Hanes underwear, in Hipster size 2-3. My 3.5 daughter, who is thin (with an "athletic rear") is swimming in brief underwear. So I tried the hipsters. They were pretty decent. They stayed in place, not too much fabric, decently comfortable, etc. So now that they are getting a hint small we tried size 4. Please see the pictures below: 1) The Yellow is size 4 along with the package of assorted colors I received 2) The turquoise underwear are Hanes Bikini in size 4, over the yellow Hipsters in size 4. You can see the cut difference between the Bikini and the Hipster. 3) The white Hipster is a Hanes size 2-3 - so you can see the difference between the size 2-3 and size 4 underneath. Also when you compare photos, you can see that the Hipster size 2-3 is similar in cut to the Bikini size 4. The main difference is that the waist on the Bikini size 4 is bigger than the Hipster size 2-3. But other than that they are cut pretty similarly. To sum up: My thin daughter has an "athletic" rear and because of it the Bikini is just a bit too small on her rear and we are sticking with the Hipster. But if your daughter is thin with flatter rear the Bikini may be perfect. Is this expensive, beautiful underwear? Nope. But is this decent material, with a decent cut, with no tags, that will last a year? Yup. And at basically $1 per underwear, it is perfectly priced for what it is. I hope this is helpful to you! My daughter loves these panties (size 2-3) and usually chooses these out of all of the ones in her drawer. No, they are not Carter's or Baby Gap quality, but they are Hanes quality which is still so much nicer than the cheapy character undies with the scratchy elastic. AND they are less than $8 for 6 pair! Perfect for something she'll grow out of in a year or less. We've washed these a bunch, and they have held their shape and did not seem to shrink. They also fit a little larger than the character undies and seem to cover more. She is 2 1/2, wears a 2T pant and has narrower hips so the hipster cut fits her well. I ordered 2 packs and both sets were the patterns in the product photo provided by Amazon. The colors and patterns are just as cute in person. Purchased along with FOTL “flexible fit” briefs in the same size. As you can see in the photos (one pre- and one post-washing) they’re sized consistently, though obviously very different styles. They fit as expected (slightly loose) on my slim-built 28m. She doesn’t have a preference (today!) and both seem comfortable for her; the material of these is sturdy and the elastic is soft. The gusset and side seams are NOT flat so some sensitive souls may take issue. (I prefer the FOTL right now for avoiding a diaper-like snugness at the waist, and for what looks like extra-comfortable construction, but that doesn’t detract from the appeal of these basic ‘big girl panties’!) Very happy with these undies! Some people have complained that they aren't the same as the picture. Well the description does say assorted, which I noted and counted on cause I did not really care for the ones pictured. However, they go under pants and no one sees them so who cares! But I absolutely love the assortment we received. So girly and fun and matches everything else we have, again even though that doesnt really matter with this product. My daughter loves all animals so I know she is going go love the llama print. My girl potty trained quick and we were not prepared with just the 3 undies we had. Doing laundry every 3 days just for underwear got old quick. The price was right for these and we got them super fast. Which was great, since we can't go to stores right now (and most places don't carry 2T underwear in-store anyway). Read more

I really like these. They're my 2.1 y.o. girl's first panties and they fit well. (size 2T/3T) I was afraid that "hipster" could mean too low or too narrow, but they have a nice coverage w.o. being bulky or sliding up. Pretty perfect fit for her little bottom and she's an average weight. Also love that they're tagless, nothing seems to bother her on the inside. The cotton is soft. Good price too. The only thing - the patterned couple i got are different from the picture here, but that doesn't really bother me. Solid colors are correct. I only washed them once in the washing machine though, other washes have been all by hands (just b.c. we're in training and need them back fast), so we'll see how well they can withstand time.
