For the first time in over 5 years since my beautiful wife, Denise, passed away, I finally got a date. She works in my building. Over the past 6 months we would see each other every morning getting on the elevator, me on the top floor, her two floors down. Every day I would notice her sunset red hair flowing down her delicate shoulders. She smelled like the flowers in my front garden. The garden I have kept busy with in the years since my Deniese's passing. It took me 6 months to finally get the courage to get beyond the usual pleasantries and actually ask her out. To my utter amazement and horror she said yes! I had 3 days to plan a date. 3 days! I hadn't planned a date in years! Thankfully my sister in law came over to help me. She told me to pick out a nice outfit and to just do something simple like a nice dinner. Someplace quiet where we could just talk and get to know one another. Most importantly she told me it was ok. It was ok to move on. That her sister would want me to move on with my life. That Denise would want me to share my love with someone else. It was ok. I went to my closet so she could help me find an outfit to wear. And then it all came crashing down. I didn't have a t-shirt to wear under my nice collared shirt! With no t-shirt I for sure would sweat right through my dress shirt. Ugly stains would show under my arms and certainly down my back. I would look absolutely ridiculous on the most important night of my life since my wife's death! My sister in law told me to calm down. We could just go online and order one. But I knew time was a factor. I only had 3 days! In my manic searching on Amazon I came upon this white t-shirt. They had my exact size AND color, white! But most importantly it was on Prime! I could get my shirt in two days with no extra charge! My sister in law and I embraced, laughing at my needless fear and more than a couple more tears were shed. It would be ok. I'll keep most of the details of my date later that week to myself. But I will say that I had a real confidence in myself that night. I can't say if it was the loving memory of my late wife knowing she would want me to love again, or the feeling of this perfectly fitting t-shirt, but I found that I was able to let go and simply be myself. The color is nice and the fabric is soft. The shirt is made slightly crooked, however. The neck hole is slightly off center, not enough to notice while wearing it, but hard for me to center the applique that I was adding to it. The shirt is worth the price I paid for it, but is not the best quality shirt available. Read more

These are good shirts. They are not see through thin, they are not Dickies Heavyweight cotton either, but that's not what I want. I really like the fit, its a bit different. I bought a medium. I am 5'7", 145bs, 31 inch waist. Thin but in shape. Most t shirts (for my build) are too wide at the waist and slightly long. I wont say this is "fitted" - it isn't- but it is slightly thinner at the waist than most T's and the length is not crazy long. Some T's I cant wear just loose outside the pants bec they are too long... these look good relaxed/out. The sleeves and shoulder point are longer than most mediums, and the arm opening's don't flare out excessively. The neck opening is typical, not too big, not tight. I am very particular about fit, and this suits me well. Good shirt, and its affordable. Read more
