I discovered the ultimate secret weapon to level up my beach game - the Hanes Sport Men's Compression Shorts. These bad boys provide the support I never knew I needed, making me feel like the superhero of beachgoers. First off, let me tell you about the fit of these compression shorts. I've tried countless options in the past, but the Hanes Sport shorts are in a league of their own. They snugly hug my body, giving me a sense of security that not even my retired superhero undies could provide. No more worrying about accidental peek-a-boos or wardrobe malfunctions while chasing waves or playing beach volleyball. Trust me; I've put these things to the test, and they held up like a fortress against the forces of gravity. Now let's talk about comfort. The Performance Compression Shorts are smooth, soft, and stretchy, so it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a medieval torture device under my trunks. They manage to strike the perfect balance between staying in place and allowing free movement. I never thought I'd say it, but these compression shorts actually make me forget I'm wearing underwear beneath my swim trunks. It's like they're the secret agent of comfort, blending into the background and doing their job without any fuss. Pros: 1. Stellar support: The Hanes Sport shorts keep everything in place, preventing any surprise appearances and providing confidence at the beach. 2. Comfortably snug: The compression shorts are perfectly designed to provide a secure fit without causing discomfort or restricting movement. 3. Versatility: Don't limit these shorts to just swimming! They're suitable for all kinds of athletic activities, making them a versatile addition to any man's wardrobe. 4. Limited color options: Though this is a minor gripe, it would be great to see more vibrant and playful color options to match the buoyant beach ambiance. In conclusion, if you're looking for added support and comfort while strutting your stuff at the beach, the Hanes Sport Men's Compression Shorts are your superhero sidekick. These compression shorts offer a snug fit that keeps everything in place without sacrificing movement or comfort. I needed a compression garment for working out since the gym shorts I wear seem a tad short. Even a bit on the revealing side, and totally unintentional of course. These are shorts I always wear to bed, and I’ve decided to turn them into gym shorts, and I needed a compression garment so nothing shows while working out. The worst thing ever is to be working out, and having things get potentially exposed around prying eyes. After all my cardio is completed, I do stretches and odd yoga poses. I kept browsing and browsing, and everything was extremely overpriced. I found these and I think the price is absolutely right. I am very pleased. They fit fine and are almost to my knees length wise. I feel so comfortable in these. It covers everything that needs to be covered. I really have no idea why the reviews are so bad. Yes, the elastic band around the waist does have a crease if you have a bit of a gut, but it doesn’t bother me at all. It is not a distraction. You only notice when you are ready to do laundry. I have no clue why people wear compression garments, aside from covering things up. They look super great in black. Loved these so much, I got a few pairs for all my workouts. Check out my pics and pick up a pair. A real bargain at these prices. Read more
I've been running for 20 years. I've done 8 marathons, a handful of ultras and over 100 shorter races. I'm finding that over the years, it's become harder and harder for me to find a good pair of running underwear. I don't know why the quality keeps suffering and they keep discontinuing what already works. I used to love my Champion compression shorts that lasted about 15 years and Adidas climalite underwear, but they discontinued them. These might be the closest I can find to the Champion compression shorts, that after 15 years, finally ripped on me. The only issue I have is that the crotch area seems loose and I have to really pull them up, so they rest firmly against my undercarriage and do not cause chaffing. So far, the waist band is tight enough to keep them in this position. There is a tag, which I've never seen in sport related underwear, but it hasn't bothered me in the 2 runs I've done over about 12 miles. I'm afraid to rip the tag and the underwear with it. As long as they stay right around the waist, I think these will be ok. But it's weird how much room there is in the crouch bottom area. I've never experienced this with any other underwear I've owned. Also, when I first put the underwear on, I felt like it was tearing a little...but seemed to be ok. I thought that was strange. Hopefully they stay together and last 10 years like my Champion did. Read more
This was a great product that met my expectation. Read more
They work for running great until they don't. 7 months after purchase (with 2 months of no use), they developed holes near crouch/glutes that causes skin to skin rubbing and chafing. Durability is low. Had this happen to two pairs. Read more
My teenager needed this to wear under his marching band uniform. It’s lightweight and thin, and he prefers it over the other compression shorts he has. Read more
These seem to fit true to size. They have a bit of extra, loose fabric over the inside front so that if you were so inclined you could just wear these and still leave some things to the imagination. These wick moisture well and decently breathable, they aren't magical though and so things do get a tiny bit humid by the end of a run. Great at keeping thighs from chafing and seem to do a good job with compression. Would wholeheartedly recommend for running. Read more
