I am 5’2”, 195 lbs, with thick thighs, a curvy rear, and a 36” waist. I purchased these leggings (the non-pocket version) in black, size Large. They fit great, are very comfortable, and they are squat-proof! I definitely could not have sized down, but I’m not sure if the XL would be too big on me, so I’ll probably stick with a Large if I purchase more of these leggings. The 7/8 length was perfect for my height, which makes them ankle length for me. The material feels very good, and they withstood a workout just fine. Honestly, the quality of these leggings is great, especially considering the price. My only complaint is that the waist rolls down with movement. It is a little annoying, but I can live with it. I may have bought these leggings without realizing they are, in my opinion, more exercise leggings, rather than just regular wear. With that in mind, they are very, very nice. However, comparing the reviews, I was surprised that reviewers with my height and close to my weight found the size large to fit well. I am 5’1” 149 lbs and I carry my weight all in my middle area. That made these large size way too tight. I could see how if my weight was more evenly distributed, they might be fine. So, bottom line for me is way, way too skin tight and when considering reviews by height and weight, I realized that doesn’t matter. It’s where you wear your weight.
