They just arrived, and they promise to be WONDERFUL!!!! They feel sturdy and are larger than my old suction cups. They come with metal S hooks for hanging things but I dont need that part so I easily removed them. They have a circular concentric ridge that seems to give better structure and shape, and i'm thinking longevity too. I cleaned my sink with alcohol, as the instructions say, installed 2 onto my sink sponge holder, and pressed firmly into place. They STUCK!!!! if this suction continues, they are even more than wonderful! So the promise of multiple suction securing uses seems large and varied. I will be replacing other suction cups with this larger size, as most of my suction tools have too small/weak cups for the job. Ordered these suction cups in the large size. These are fantastic! The cups are soft and flexible and stick securely on glass, solid surface, tile and even on some cabinet fronts (good on laminate but not so well on wood). This may be TMI, but my dad just had prostate surgery and was sent home with a temporary catheter in place. Of course, with the catheter also comes the catheter bag. My mom has been trying to figure out how my dad can best manage the bag in the bathroom during showers and while he shaves, brushes his teeth, cleans up in the morning and gets ready for bed at night. He's using a large bag that doesn't strap to his leg. Carrying it around always leaves him one handed, and just letting it sit on the floor isn't the most hygienic either. I got these suction cups for her and she stuck one in the shower, one on the outside of the glass shower door, and one on the face of the sink cabinet. Mom also bought a small "C" end table to put next to the sofa in their family room. She stuck a hook onto its' glass top so when they're relaxing and watching TV, dad can hang his bag there. This way, dad always has somewhere nearby and at the right height to hang the bag from. Though these are a bit unsightly to be used where they are visible, for dad's temporary use they're perfect. These come in a multi pack and my mom's already saying that she's going to use one for her holiday wreath and I'm sure she'll come up with a variety of other uses for others too. Read more
