TL;DR I’m a road-warrior (~6,000 mi/mo) and I hung this from the front of the front passenger seat in a 2013 Prius (facing me), not on the seat back. It’s sturdy, didn’t slip or sway in normal driving, and works best for flat/slim items (lap desk, clipboard, snacks, wipes). Pockets measure ~3.5" (top), 8.5" (middle/large), 6" (bottom). Side mesh pockets are too small for adult bottles (kid-size only). Install is fast. The rear has Velcro hook backing meant to grab seat backs—since I mounted it on the front, that backing doesn’t engage (it just adds a little friction). Quality stitching/materials. Easy on/off. Velcro hooks: Designed to bite fabric seat backs when used behind a seat. In my setup (front-mounted on smooth Prius upholstery) they don’t stick—only provide minor friction. The back of the seats is the same, it would only provide extra friction. Sturdiness: Faux leather over rigid PP liners holds shape; seams and strap hardware feel confident under normal loads. Storage Capacity (real measurements): Top pockets: ~3.5" deep — tissues, sanitizer, cables. Middle (largest): ~8.5" deep — fits a lap desk/clipboard or slim tablet sleeve. Bottom: ~6" deep — snacks, small pouch. Side mesh: Too tight for adult bottles; fine for kids’ drinks or small sprays. Functionality: Keeps everyday items reachable without piling the seat. This replaced my loose-seat stash and made stops quicker. Stability & Slip Resistance: Front-mounted, it stayed put—no wandering under braking/turns. This organizer was easy to install. I was able to set it up in a few minutes. I hung mine behind the driver's seat where I have a single seat pocket, used to hold bags for trash. I can continue using the built-in pocket behind it for that purpose and have a lot of other slots on this organizer for other items like snacks, cables, and personal care items like tissues and wipes. In the winter it can be used for gloves, lip balm, lotion, and so on. It even has a large pocket in the back, where you can stash magazines or other things that shouldn't be visible through the windows, for example a tablet or a little extra cash. Seriously. I regret only buying one of these. I often struggle with maintaining a clean and completely uncluttered car, but while also making sure my car is stocked with items I might (and usually do) need to use on a regular basis. So what usually happens? My poor hatch area... it's perpetually cluttered and bothers me IMMENSELY. My solution was usually to just stuff everything in various reusable bags, and then shove them in the hatch area. The problem with that method however is out of sight/out of mind. So then what happens when you're looking for something? You have to dump out the entire bag to sort through everything to find the one item you need. Then what? Clutter. All the clutter. Anyhoo...that's what it's been like for me. A neverending cluttered struggle in the hatch of my car *cue sad trombone audio*. So when I saw this car organizer that literally sticks to the back of your seat, I couldn't click "buy" fast enough. And golly am I sure glad I did! Did you see my before/after photos?! The only thing I'm missing now is another one. This organizer is so great. Honestly. The Velcro design is genius. There are so many compartments in several different sizes, so whatever size I need...there's a compartment for that. There's also a nice mix of see-thru and rigid/not see-thru compartments. I was actually worried about it being an eyesore, but between the design and the quality I feel like it actually enhances the aesthetics of my hatch area. Absolutely awesome purchase!
