I looove this vest. It’s beautiful and practical. It however arrived shrink wrapped so tightly that it is full of deep marks. I am going to gently wash it to see if they come out. I am extremely annoyed that I can enjoy it before it pills because of this. Because this is polyester it will pill. So having to wash it to take these deep fold marks off of it (which I don’t see happened to any other one pictured!) is a big let down. I will admit that non the less I have ordered four more. I tend to get cold while at my desk and because of the functional side buttons, I can gracefully wear these without the vest being stretched out around my hips. An issue than any woman with slightly big hips here will immediately understand! As far as fit, I do believe it’s true to size. You have to decide if you want it way bigger at the top around your chest in order to wear it with the buttons closed (if you have hips like I do), or if you are ok leaving the bottom button undone. Because the top part is in fact a bit loose. It is super comfortable and the weight of the material feels great! 1st Update: Look at the second picture. I washed it inside out in a bag, alone in the washing machine in a “delicates” cycle. I’ve laid it out to dry in a towel. Love this. It’s soft and comfortable. It irons well on steam to get wrinkles out. Good quality. Easy to wear with all kind of shirts underneath. I typically wear a small but purchased a medium because it’s being worn over a shirt. Recommend. UPDATE: Wash on gentle cycle/ cold water. This will pill. Iron worked well but after I washed it it took more effort to get the wrinkles out. I’m guessing it’d be best to dry flat. Read more

I think this best would be good for layering. I purchased my regular size which is medium and it fits well. It’s very soft to the touch and looks as photo (I got gray). While I like it, I’m not sure o like it enough to get other colors. It just arrived today so I haven’t styled it yet; maybe that will make a difference. Overall it’s a keeper. Read more

I ordered the medium first, as what was recommended and is my usual size. (I am 5'4/124 pounds). It fit large esp in waist area and felt frumpy. ..... I returned for a small and it will work. It is still a bit large (x-small would probably have worked but will allow for shrinkage) ..... Plus didn't want to do another return. Appears to be well made, love the buttons on sides... I haven't laundered it yet so can't vouch for how that will go. (I think the color could have been a been a bit more brown, but it's ok and that's just me/picky). I put this with a darker brown pants, white blouse and it looked nice, Annie Hall-ish type. I like tailored things and this fits that bill. It would also go well with black pants or denims/white shirt. Will be a good casual 'fit for fall/winter.:) EDIT: I have worn this as described above (white long sleeved blouse, brown pants or jeans) and received sooo many compliments on it. I love this sweater vest. And will purchase another one in a different color. It is well-made, very soft, the buttons are very secure on the sides and looks great with just about everything. This is one of those vests that you could probably wear year-round depending on your climate. It looks cute with a short sleeve T-shirt for spring summer or fall and long sleeves for the cooler times. Read more

Bought 2 colors. They are nicely made, look good with a smooth layer underneath, and both kept their shape after washing. Size tends to run a little smaller than expected so would recommend ordering a size up to accommodate layering. Read more
