I needed a rolling bag for a small sewing machine that would also serve as a carry on. For the price, this bag will be great. I can tell it won't fit under most airplane seats, so don't buy it for that. The outside pockets are a little tight to get into, but they would be fine for smaller items like underwear and socks. It has a TSA approved lock. For my use, at 9 inches wide, it was the widest that I could find in this category, and it will house my Janome Jem just fine with plenty of room for fabric and carry-on approved supplies. I can get my Singer Featherweight machine zipped in, but it actually sticks out beyond the zipper, and even though I can zip it, thought it wasn't safe for that machine. Nice small size big enough for packing for a weekend. It's very well constructed with a sturdy two-position retractable handle. It rolls straight and easy. Zippers are well made. Interior is lined with a durable material and the non-elastic straps can be cinched down and are made to last. The grab handle on the bottom make it easy to load in an overhead compartment and it has side bumpers for laying the luggage horizontally. The front pockets are large enough for travel documents and my iPad. The built-in TSA lock is a nice feature but I probably wouldn't check it (it's a carry-on after all!). Read more

I am typing this from my hotel in Asia after I took this on a 14 hour flight. The very first thing I wanted to tell you all is that you won’t have a problem using this as a carry on on Korea air specifically, even when you expand the suitcase with the zippers. Nobody said anything about it or tried to check it for me because it was too big or overstuffed. You’ll be just fine. It’s not a big suitcase at all and the way it’s designed actually makes it look smaller than what it is and is deceiving, which works in your favor. The reason i wanted to call this out is because so many people tend to design cost effective carry on luggage for Europe and the majority of reviews I read are from people visiting there, so for folks going to Asia it isnt as helpful. For the price point I am blown away by the quality of this and the number of pockets and hidden compartments. It is a great suitcase, really you cannot go wrong with this one. It doesn’t feel flimsy and it doesn’t look cheap. The amount of clothes I was able to fit in here is absolutely insane. This is the first trip I ever took where I didn’t feel like I had to sacrifice some of the clothing choices I wanted. I also fit 3 pairs of shoes, several hot tools for my hair, and some bulky electronics boxes for adaptors and things like that. Keep in mind I used packing cubes. I also wanted to mention the strong quality of the zippers and stitching. I am not worried about this getting a hole in it somewhere or ripping (although I did purchase the extended warranty to be on the safe side). You can tell the stitching is strong and reinforced which goes back to the quality aspect. I seriously can’t believe this is only like $100 because I have purchased carry ons at the same price point from places like tj maxx and they did not feel like this one — especially when it comes to the wheels and the handle. This suitcase has good wheels. I love the way this rolls, it’s very easy to push around when you have it rolling on either side of you. And the handle offered two levels that lock in strong. The only thing I’ll say is a pain point with this suitcase is that it has a tendency to tip over if you utilize the expansion zipper and the two large pockets on the outside, but I feel like other suitcases would do that too, so I would definitely still recommend this. Don’t let that deter you because it really isn’t a big deal and it doesn’t happen very often. Like I said in the beginning I put a lot of stuff in here so it could totally be that I overstuffed this. I found this wasn’t a big annoyance for me since I was also carrying a personal item on top of the suitcase that kept it stable. All in all this is a wonderful suitcase that I would recommend to anyone. Can't wait to use it!.I will be taking a weekend trip with girlfriends end of this month, September. I have other good duffel type bags, but I am tired of hoisting them over my shoulder. This bag has wheels and moves nicely around my house. Alot of room inside. Two zipper pockets on the outside. Has lock combination that can be used or not. Can fit under seat if I fly anywhere. This Carry On glides nicely and holds all I need for a trip. One problem though. It fit just fine underneath the center and window seats, but wouldn't fit under the isle seat on my Alaska flight. I had to put it up in the overhead, it fits well. I would buy this again, and might do so for my Husband. Great value for the money so far, it's built well, the wheels all rotate and run smooth on the floor. I had no problems on escalators or ramps. It's the nicest Carry on I've had in a long long time so far. If you are a heavy packer, and Carry way more than you need.. this bag, or any of these underseat bags probably won't be good for you.
