Hanna Nikole Womens High Waisted Bikini Sets Textured Tummy Control Swimsuit 2 Piece Twist Color Block Bathing Suits

I have not worn a bikini in about 20 years but thought that I’d give it a try since I’ve lost some weight recently. And the style of this suit intrigued me with its ample tummy coverage, leopard accent fabric, and golden shell embellishment. Since I’m big-busted, I select bathing suits with shoulder straps instead of halter tops to take the strain off of my neck. But trying to determine what size to order in this bikini was frustrating; the size chart supplied by the manufacturer did not include cup sizes (now remedied). I normally require bra-sized swimwear for my 38G chest so I selected an XL and hoped for the best. Sadly, it was not a good choice; my boobs spilled out of the cups on both sides, even with the pads removed. I think that a larger size would have been a better choice overall since the bottom was small on me too although the size chart indicates that it should have room to spare on me. The front reduced my tummy comfortably without feeling constrictive but it just didn’t fit far enough around me at the sides. I could easily adjust the front coverage to above or below my navel. The first thing that I noticed on unpacking this swimsuit was the very strong rubber scent, reminiscent of the swim caps we used to wear when I was a child. The second thing to catch my eye was a flaw in the fabric on the front of the bottom piece; it resembles a run in stockings (see photo). There is also no adjustment for size on the top’s band; it’s simply elastic with no fastener at the back. The shoulder straps have a great deal of adjustment with sliders just like a bra. Oddly, the sliders and rings on the straps are silver which do not match the gold seashell on the suit front. That said, the crisscross shape of the top provides good support for even a large bust. I thought that I’d try washing the suit to see if it would decrease the odor. The care instructions are also odd, stating: “remove decorations before washing”. Well, the metal shell is sewn into place so there is no removing it prior to washing. Overall, this suit is very well made with no loose stitches or seams. The entire suit is lined in white in the brown version. Even though it’s too small for me now, I have high hopes that I’ll be wearing this bikini with a little more weight loss. I deducted one star from my rating for the flaw in the fabric and the inaccurate size chart. But for less than $30, this is a stylish suit with a retro vibe that would work well for someone wanting good bust support and control in the tummy area. Read more

Very supportive top, the bottoms are a little snug on me but it will do. I love the colors, it’s beautiful and for the most part comfortable. I believe it is flattering for a curvy body type. The quality seems great and well made and has decent coverage as well. Read more

My wife loved the design and color pattern of this bathing suit and said it’s well made overall. The material felt sturdy and held up nicely, and the bottom fit her well with no issues. The only thing worth mentioning is that the top ran a bit tighter than other large-sized suits she’s worn. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but it did feel snug compared to what she usually expects from a size large. It might work better for someone who prefers a slightly firmer fit or if you’re between sizes. I absolutely love this bikini set and am looking forward to wearing it on my next beach day! The textured fabric feels really nice—soft, stretchy, and supportive without feeling thick or heavy. This is a really nice looking bathing suit. It's very stylish and is made with good quality materials. This is one of those suits that should be sold as a mix or match or the option to choose different sizes for the top and bottom. The material is not as stretchy and has a more fitted structure which is a nice quality but if you have a larger chest and a smaller bottom it just won't work. You will need to order one or two sizes up depending on how large chested you are and the bottoms will be looser but I think could still work. I never even thought of wearing a two piece bathing suit again in my life after two children and three major surgeries in my mid section. But Hanna Nikole knows how to make swimsuits that make women feel beautiful and comfortable in a swimsuit. I had been wearing a swimdress before trying Hanna Nikole’s bathing suits. A swimdress basically hides your body and its shape. But in order to use the rest room you had to strip off your whole swimsuit and if you were in a public restroom you were left vulnerable to prying eyes through the door cracks of people just trying to figure out if the stall was occupied. And then you needed to try and wiggle on the bathing suit…and if it was wet or if you were sticky hot, multiply that aggravation by 10. But Hanna Nikole has changed that for me with their 2 piece high waisted bikini sets with textured tummy control swimsuits. The suit offers tummy control without so much pressure that you're uncomfortable. The fabric feels so comfortable and I love the retro pattern too. I’m a 50ish woman and I was complimented by many people when wearing my Hanna Nikole bathing suit. Don’t shy away…just try one. You’ll be glad you did. Read more
