Massive disappointment, I won't be buying from Hanover again.
I recently purchased the Hanover L-Shaped Sit Stand Desk, Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk with Programmable Memory for Home or Office, Modern Ergonomic Standup Desk with LED Adjustment Panel and USB Port, White. Originally ordered on Amazon in Mid-March, when the desk arrived it was damaged, and delivery was refused. In order to get a replacement, I was told the only option was to wait for a return on Amazon to process and then reorder, which I did; at a price that was now higher than the original order. The replacement desk was shipped through the same vendor again and again arrived damaged, but I was not given the opportunity to refuse it due to damage as it was left without appointment sitting on sidewalk next to my garage where all the elements could get to it. In order to ensure I got my desk in this six-week period I had to make a number of calls and waste a large amount of my time. Dealing with both CEVA Logistics' and Amazon's shortcomings, along with a lack of empathy and support. After much frustration, many conversations and delay, the replacement desk finally arrived, damaged (again). This whole experience has been way more difficult, frustrating, and painful than is necessary. My time has value, but I feel like I've had to invest a large amount of my time and effort trying to get these issues resolved through no fault of my own with little care or effort by Hanover, Ceva the shipper, nor Amazon. It's hard to think of this as a positive experience when so many things went wrong along the way could been prevented and handled better and executed far more effectively. I'd love to give you all the opportunity to make this right. But I have little confidence in any of you, I reached out to Hanover for resolution and they pointed the finger at Amazon, and I'm sure Amazon will point the finger at Ceva Logistics and round and round we'll go. I definitely cannot recommend this vendor Ceva Logistics or Amazon for purchase of larger bulky items in the future. What a disappointment. Read more
