This item is sturdy, looks nice and works great. The instructions were clear. But it was awkward to put together by myself just because it is a bit imbalanced when it is not hanging on a door. So far so great! I spent a lot of time debating which towel rack to try when I decided to move away from the tired old over-the-tank rack I had in my bathroom. I finally pulled the trigger on this one and I love the look!! It seems pretty sturdy once it is all screwed together, and I put it in the wall with the adhesive and then screwed it in to the wall as well, and it seems to be fairly stable so far. I guess it remains to be seen how it will hold up long term, but I have high hopes, and I do like the way it feels in my space. The towels I have in it are all bath towel size and fit easily rolled up. That was a factor I looked for in the racks I was considering.
