I'm so glad I gave this another chance. The first box I tried had a really nasty artificial sweetener aftertaste. It left a film of bleh on your tongue after each sip. I'm pretty certain that batch actually had Stevia sweetener added to it. (I believe I saw that on the box.) I debated whether or not to order any more. I really disliked the aftertaste, but this was the only chai tea latte option made in a k-cup that didn't have artificial flavoring. They went out of stock for awhile, so I figured the decision had been made for me. But, when I saw it come back in stock, I decided to go ahead and try once more, and I'm so glad I did! I'm happy to report, that the new shipment seems to have been reformulated. There is no trace of that awful artificial sweetener aftertaste. Just a very nice, mild chai flavor. I also confirmed that there are no artificial sweeteners listed in the ingredients on the box. Something else that's nice is that while the older box I tried left little beads of something in my cup when I would run it through my Keurig, the new and improved batch does not. This definitely tastes like a latte, a very weird mocha mint maybe, but definitely does not taste like chai latte. There is a chemically taste that most closely resembles mint. When I took my first sip, I first thought I had put the wrong pod in, but no. Unfortunately I bought two boxes - one that opened for someone at work and one for home that I just opened to try so I can't return these. I just assumed they would taste like chai latte. Please someone make a 70 calorie true chai latte kpod that I can afford -- I so wanted this to be true but this is not. I am so, so disappointed and am actually throwing all of mine away. Read more

The Chai is good, but the pods have no quality control. Most of the pods I've used so far have exploded in my coffee maker, even after punching extra holes in the bottoms of them to prevent it. The foil keeps blowing off and spewing the tea out as it's "brewing." Of all the coffees and teas I use, these Chai pods are the only ones doing this. Thankfully my coffee maker is designed to contain such issues and direct the spillage into the cup anyways, so at least nothing is being wasted.
