I like the color and and it fits as expected. It came shipped in vacuum sealed plastic so it was very wrinkled, but it smoothed out when I washed and dried it Read more

I bought the blue one and went by the sizing chart according to the measurements. Got it, it fit beautifully -- bought the black, red, and green one, and all three fit as though they're a full size smaller. Very disappointing. Read more
TL;DR: $18 is a bit pricey for a no‑name shirt; I’d rather go to Marshalls or TJ Maxx or something and get a real brand. Still, it feels nice and looks nice. I received this product for free through Amazon Vine. ================================================== The Hardaddy Men’s Casual Button Down Shirts Short Sleeve Stretch Button Up Pattern Business Dress Shirt for Men is one of those pieces that, on first impression, feels surprisingly pleasant to wear and visually pleasing to the eye, even if its value proposition isn’t immediately obvious when you look at the price tag in isolation. At around $18, this shirt sits in that curious middle ground where it doesn’t quite carry the name recognition of a well‑established brand, yet it delivers a tangible level of comfort and appearance that makes it easy to understand why someone might choose it in a pinch, or simply because they want a dependable short‑sleeve button‑down that can move effortlessly between casual and business‑casual settings. From the moment you slip it on, the fabric feels soft and accommodating against the skin, thanks to that bit of stretch woven into the material. It doesn’t cling awkwardly or feel stiff the way some inexpensive shirts can; instead, it drapes comfortably across the shoulders and chest while still allowing you to move freely whether you’re reaching up to grab something on a shelf, navigating a long day in the office, or heading out for an evening with friends. The short‑sleeve cut makes it suitable for warmer weather, and the overall pattern and cut strike a balance between casual ease and a slightly elevated look that plays well with chinos, jeans, or even dressier trousers. Visually, the shirt has an appealing pattern that avoids feeling too loud or too bland, which makes it versatile enough to pair with a range of wardrobe pieces. It doesn’t scream for attention, but it also doesn’t disappear into the background; it sits comfortably in that neighborhood of “looks put‑together without trying too hard,” which is exactly the sort of quality you want from a casual business dress shirt. Whether you’re headed to a casual Friday at work, a weekend brunch, or an informal gathering, it feels like a shirt that fits those kinds of occasions without making you feel over‑ or underdressed. However, where the experience starts to feel less compelling is when you factor in that roughly $18 price tag for what is, fundamentally, a no‑name shirt. Someone who enjoys treasure‑hunting at Marshalls, TJ Maxx, or similar outlets might find that the same amount of money — or even a bit more — can bring back the kind of name‑brand shirt that carries both reputation and quality assurances, with fabric and tailoring that often hold up a little better over time. In that context, while the Hardaddy shirt looks and feels nice now, it doesn’t have that extra layer of brand confidence or long‑term assurance that can make a purchase feel like a home‑run investment rather than a simple, momentary convenience. That said, for everyday use, this shirt performs its basic duties admirably. It manages to look neat and coordinated straight out of the closet without requiring special ironing or delicate handling, and the stretch in the fabric means it moves with you rather than resisting your natural range of motion. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy in a way that cheap clothing sometimes does; instead, it feels deliberate, comfortable, and ready for the roles we assign to our casual dress shirts — be that daily wear, laid‑back office attire, or something to throw on for an outing that doesn’t require a suit or blazer. In summary, the Hardaddy Men’s Casual Button Down Shirts Short Sleeve Stretch Button Up Pattern Business Dress Shirt for Men delivers a pleasing combination of comfort, visual appeal, and everyday versatility. While $18 for a shirt from a lesser‑known brand might make some shoppers pause — especially those who are accustomed to finding well‑made name‑brand shirts at similar or slightly higher prices in discount apparel stores — the sensation of softness, the flexibility of the stretch fabric, and the overall look make it a shirt that feels nice when you wear it and looks presentable in a variety of settings. It may not replace a favorite label from a beloved brand, but it plays a solid supporting role in a casual wardrobe without disappointment. Read more
I have been a fan of Hardaddy shirts for a long time. They are well-known for their bowling style and Hawaiian shirt style offerings and have always been excellent quality. Not everybody can afford a Tommy Bahama shirt so this is a great alternative. I got a basic maroon colored shirt for my son and was very impressed with the quality.Hardaddy makes a top quality item, the stitching is excellent, the fit is true to size and the shirts are gorgeous. This particular shirt is a nice lightweight basic shirt with a monochromatic design. It is very comfortable and washes well. I tumble dry on low heat and then hang while still damp and that takes care of any small wrinkles you might have. I generally don't iron these shirts They just don't need it but if you are picky they would not take long to iron. There's absolutely no shrinkage and again like I said these fit through the size so you can order with confidence and knowing you will get a shirt that fits you properly. I am very happy to see they are being sold on Amazon instead of having to purchase them directly from the company and at discounted sale prices as well so that makes me very happy. I will definitely be ordering more. Read more
I am 6'3" and usually wear a XXL shirt. This shirt fits well around my chest, shoulders and waste. Unfortunately it is a little short in length for my frame. I love the lightweight weave of the polyester material but the material is a little scratchy making the shirt kind of uncomfortable. I like the pattern of the material and would enjoy wearing this shirt if it fit me better. Read more
