Ive seen posted talking about ph reactive. Mainly men disliking that or women loving it. I've gotta say never not once has a single tube I've ever bought done that. Maybe I'm a lucky duck, I don't know. This is my 7th tube, I was only able to grab a single but I usually buy packs. Goes on clear, mine have never ph reacted making a tint I've even wiped my lips every tube to check and no pink there either. No they aren't matte like it says, not in the way most people consider matte, however it's not super glossy, never once have I had one look like that either, instead it's a medium thickness formula that goes on semi matte to me. The formula is great, Korean skincare in a lip balm is exactly the right description. Great for if your lips get dry and sore, which mine tend to do from health and medication. I love the sleek design of the tube, I love the balm being black and leaving no tint or residue. This thickness and consistency is amazing. Great ingredients. I can't pinpoint what it smells like to me but it makes me think of herbal mint tea, kinda of what the taste is as well. I will always repurchase this. Read more

From a woman's point of view, this is great lip balm! However, I would say that the description is incorrect. It does NOT go on matte at all. It is very silky and goes on relatively clear, but immediately reacts with your chemistry which gives it a hint of color. I happen to like that, as it enhances my natural lip color giving it a rich, deep pinkish boost and a shine that I love. If you do a "white tissue test" on your lips, you can see the faint pinkish tone. Definitely not like a lipstick or a gloss with a lot of color, but a very subtle color enhancement. It's perfect for me and leaves my lips feeling great, but my guess is that it would not appeal to *most* men. I personally think it's a clever marketing strategy used - make a "men's" product geared towards women and sell the heck out of it! I'll definitely buy it again! Read more

Even though this is in the Men's product line, I really like the hydration it gives my lips. My lips are extremely dry and tend to crack with a simple smile. This balm provided moisture and relief to my dry, chapped lips almost instantly. I applied it about every 4 hours or so the first day and right before bed. I woke up the next morning with soft, smooth lips that didn't feel like they would split open immediately. I have used it consistently for the last 7 days and have softer, smoother lips that don't hurt, crack, or peel. I really liked this product for about a week week. It went on smoothly, felt nice, and had a pleasant, light scent—almost lightly like lemongrass. I did certainly need to reapply it more than once or twice a day. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped it and it is like dropping it made a chemical breakdown or something like that. Lol The texture completely changed—it became super soft, almost like a thick lip gloss. It doesn’t even smell quite the same anymore. I tried leaving it at home in the air conditioning (instead of having it in my pocket), putting it in the fridge and freezer for a few minutes, even scraping a thin layer off the top, but nothing worked. It just hasn’t gone back to the original consistency. Now I kind of hate using it. It feels too wet and glossy for my taste. I'm disappointed, but it might be partly my fault for dropping it. Lol Still, it's odd that it would react that dramatically. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2 because I genuinely liked it before the change.
