As a midwestern bicyclist and hiker of avg height and slightly overweight , I would love this and think it would be my best purchase ever, but it’s much bigger than it needs to be. The material is so soft, and I know it would be warm. It’s so big that the hood won’t stay up off of my eyes, the part that goes over the nose and mouth doesn’t stay up and if I tie it so that it does it pulls everything so much that again I can’t see. Luckily, I can sew so going to try to take it in about an inch. Read more

I was a little concerned when all of these arrived in the green and clear amazon bags. I was hoping they didn’t smell like BO or perfume. I was really hesitant to even open them. I have sensitives to perfumes and didn’t want to trigger a migraine. Good news is of the three 1 one of them was usable. One smelled like sweat and the other smelled like perfume/laundry detergent. I am not sure how they were able to sell them as new. But oh well. I am sending them back. The balaclava itself are nice. I have several. They are soft and warm and fit fine. I bought the original one in blue to wear to the Maryland @ Penn State game when it was 10 degrees. But the blue was not quite the right shade of navy blue. But its fine. I wish there was a pure white one that would be great. I also wear them around my house after my shower because I am always cold. I have the grey, blue and now apricot. The black ones came used so I returned them. So I have no idea how they fit. I ordered another black one so we will see if it comes “new”. The blue and grey fit fine. Not too tight or wide. I like the large hood. I have big hair so it fits when I have my hair in a pineapple. Read more

Im 26, I have an overnight construction job and as a woman it doesnt take much for me to be cold. I can't handle certain fabrics against my skin or it feels horrible and I can't work properly.
