You will have to retreat a hat if you wear it a lot in the hottest weather, but it works well and us easy to treat several hats at once for a season or an event. First, let me say thatbInwas very skeptical of the claims, having ruined many a favorite hat with the dreaded sweat ring. Much to my surprise, this product not only works, but it works great. I’ve purposely worn the same hat while outside in the heat sweating for the past month and I’m happy to say, not a sweat ring to be seen on it. I have a feeling that going forward my favorite hats will remain such and without the need of replacements. ps- I followed the directions (spray on outside of hat sweat area, let dry and reapply) and I’ve been able to treat all of my hats, as well as my daughter’s and a few of my neighbor’s, so about 30-35 and I still have some product remaining. It works well. Really well. However, I think it should come in an aerosol spray bottle as its a hassle to spray a couple of hats in a row with this type of sprayer. At least a hand sprayer like a windex bottle or something. Also, one bottle was good for 3 hats applying per the directions. Nowhere near 8 hats. Still works very well though which is most important. used on a hat i got from a vendor at work. 3 weeks of sweat and not a stain. wish i had this 15 years ago to save some of my favorite hats over time.
