The best electric razor that I have used in 50 years! Very quiet, easy to clean and shaves beautifully. I had 2 days growth and this razor took it off and left my face smoother than a wet razor. So, I tried it on my head and again better tan a wet razor!!! Better than my head shaver! Read more

This Hatteker Cordless Shaver was fully charged out of the box. The first shave is just close as my 3-year old Philips Norelco 2500 shaver, in which the battery, after charging, now only gives me two minutes of cordless running time. Opened the old razor up to find two measly AAA batteries! Shame on Philips Norelco for an under engineered product that will end up in the garbage because a replacement battery will exceed the cost of my new Hatteker razor. I’m hoping the Hatteker will give me at least three years of strong battery life. Read more

Like many of you, after decades of buying Norelco shavers that are now of VERY poor quality (they used to be the gold standard, right?) -- I won't buy them anymore -- under-powered and dull blades in a ridiculously short amount of time. I wish that Elon Musk would buy Norelco and restore a once great company. Anyway, this Hatteker Electric shaves adequately. I'm buying these off brand ones from now on. They're so inexpensive. Pretty impressed with this shaver for the price. It replaced my old Norelco I had for years. It is a bit larger than the Norelco, so felt odd in my hand at first, but have gotten used to it. It came fully charged, so I decided to see how long it would last on a charge. To my surprise it lasted 6 weeks without needing a re-charge. Way longer than the old Norelco. My only real complaints is the head does not remove for cleaning, it just flips up. Not a deal breaker, but a bit awkward compared to the Norelco head that was removable. Also, the trimmer is not high quality, but does work ok. Bottom line is it is a great deal for the price which is why I gave it 5 stars. Edit: Ok, I have had it 11 months now and the head fell off and their is no way to repair it so I dropped it to 3 stars. I wrote in my original review how I did not like how the head did not remove, it was on a hinge. I got in the habit of popping it up then shaking it a bit to give it a quick clean. Well yesterday, the hinge broke away from the head. It was only held on by two tiny plastic tabs that gave way. So, I taped it back on (see pic) and it is usable until the new SweetLF I ordered arrives. The SweetLF was about the same price. Read more

I see where a lot of people compare this to a Norelco and say things like, "It's not quite like my Norelco..." Well, I'm not an expert on electric shavers, and I've never owned a Norelco, but after using this for a few days, I'm not sure what a Norelco does that would make it any better!!! Seriously - thing arrived with a full charge, I used it right out of the box (which it was nicely packaged in) and yeah, no razor burn, no irritation and nice close shave for both my face and bald head. It's really quiet too which is a bonus. And for the price? C'mon! Great value. Read more

Never heard of this brand before, but I'm glad I tried it. It matches or out-performs every shaver I've ever used, including more famous brands costing triple digits. Got excellent shaves from the start, and they only got better for weeks after (as like most shavers). In fact my shaving time has been cut down a bit. The thing is light, but don't be led into thinking that the quality is lower. I'm thinking they intentionally use a somewhat smaller battery to save weight. Bringing me to my next point, number of shaves. I get an average 17 shaves per charge, more than adequate. Yes I've had shavers that went longer, but at the expense of extra weight due to the larger battery. What's especially helpful is the remaining charge indicator, much better than the last-minute alert of other units that only comes on a few seconds before actually dying. Speaking of quality, some reviews mention the shaverhead hinge being somewhat delicate. Well, yes, it's a lightweight hinge that's designed to be removable. It's fine as long as you handle it gently and avoid slamming the thing open. Other points: The recessed button is a nice touch. Protruding buttons tend to get pushed inadvertantly during use, very annoying. This one doesn't. The fact there isn't a tilting head is actually a plus for me, as I find that useless and even detrimental. Finally, some have complained about the USB charging and the lack of a supplied wall plug. However, who doesn't have a half dozen USB chargers lying around. It's also one less thing to pack when travelling, as you can use the same charger as for your phone and laptop. UPDATE: Have gone through 2 of these. First died after 5 months; the second less than 2 months. Very bad electronics. Company did not respond to email or even the chat function on their own website.
