This lil guy puts in the work, I can confidently say I’ve been chilly when coming into my living room. It’s not too loud, does produce a LOT of water though so get a basin that can handle a few gallons for emptying the drain. It’s nice and compact so it fits well in my small space. I wanted to give this a 4 star rating but there is one key reason I purchased this unit that does not live up to its promise so I have to give it a 3. If you live in a hot and dry climate, this unit is for you. It cools well and I love the sleeve they give for the exhaust tube because having had a previous version I know how much heat comes off that tube when in use. The reason for the 3 star is because this unit has a dehumidify mode which I need as I live in a humid summer location. When I operate it in dehumidifier mode the humidity in the room quickly jumps 10% and keeps climbing. Therefore I have to run a separate dehumidifier to get the humidity way down and then run the AC long enough to get to the desired temperature and then shut it off and use fans in order to be able to sleep at night. I really wish I could just leave it on but if I do the humidity causes the room to be wet and gross which is almost just as bad as being hot, wet, and gross. So. Dry climate, yes. Humid climate, not unless you like being moist. Also, there’s no foam included to help seal your window during install which would be a fabulous courtesy as other sellers offer. Read more

Just got this today and the gliders in the window kit are too long for my horizontal window. Other than that it was pretty easy to set up, although the instructions were not very helpful. Has to go back but packing it back up will be difficult because they used packing straps to hold the box together for shipping. I have no way to attach packing straps. Read more
