Well made from good wood and extremely solid/heavy. Looks beautiful. My one critique is that the finish doesn't do justice to the carving work; it's got a lacquer-like finish that obscures the natural beauty of the wood a bit. I ended up stripping mine with a disk sander ($30 on Amazon) and refinishing it with a coat of tung oil ($15 on Amazon), which creates an identical walnut coloration but makes the natural complexity of the lighter sap wood really pop.
