It's amazing how dirty perfectly clean clothes can get hanging in a closet if they aren't in a garment bag! I've had to go on a massive laundry project twice/yr when seasons change. I was sceptical b/c the bags looked stiff across the top & I have shallow-depth closets. However, the fabric is the perfect degree of shape & softness w/beautiful tightly finished seams & so lint free there was basically nothing in my lint trap. NO odor upon opening package & after initial laundering (be sure to remove leather pull first) it held its shape w/minimal wrinkles which I didn't care about anyway since all bags - I ended up ordering 4 (2 long, 2 short) so far since the first 2 were so amazing - got stuffed. There was even room at the bottom since the slot was too tight for more than 5 of the flat velvet flocked hangers w/bulky clothes but I got 10 with thinner ones. I've finally covered my freshly clean down vests, jackets, & coats as well as my wool & suede. My designer dresses for consignment or inheritance are being given the proper covering they deserve. I am so impressed w/these bags that I'm ordering more as well as sweater ones for my cashmere & wool. I do wish that the cover on the top slot for hangers was more flexible or wider since there was more room in them & another review said the zipper was on the opposite side of the sheer window which is inconvenient but all you have to do is just pull up the zipper to see what's in the bag or hang a tag from the hangers. I bought a couple of these to preserve some very sought after track suits that were out of original packaging but otherwise mint. And so far they've been wonderful. I was worried one of the suits, an xl in size and bulky, wouldn't fit. But it remains in pristine condition. It's breathable and there's a slit on the side that can give you a peek at how it's doing. I keep silica gel in mine to reduce moisture but only because I live in a basement apartment. They look quite classy and people are often shocked I use such luxurious items to store korn track suits. If it can fit the xl green sequin A.D.I.D.A.S. suit im confident it can fit a more formal one as well. If your goal is to preserve something treasured this is the item to get. Read more

These are the best garment bags that I’ve found after searching for several years. I have moths. What a nightmare! I’ve tried a bunch of different bags, totes and they’ve worked okay, but most of the bags I’ve found are plastic and so are the totes. I like that you can see the contents and I label them. But, I don’t want to store my clothes in plastic long term. These are heavy duty cotton. They zip from the side, which makes it easier to put clothes in without wrinkling them. If you are using them for tops or light jackets, they hold about five garments per bag. You can’t see what’s in them, so you’d have to label them or remember. But, that also means that your clothes are safe from sun damage if you have a window nearby. I’ve only had them for a short time, so I can’t speak to their effectiveness at keeping moths out. I always add a lavender sachet for extra protection. These seem to be really good quality and arrived with no defects. Read more
