I was hesitant to buy this because of the price. I wanted something I could use long term so I got this and the fleece liner. It’s very well made. The fleece fits nicely as well and is super warm. Fits well, pack down into the pouch on the front of the poncho (folds inside out into it). Overall keeps water on the outside with plenty of room under it. The material feels very durable and not plastic like most others. Read more

I have owned a number of sweatbox ponchos over the years and this one is by far the best I have ever donned! The price is steep, however you get what you pay for. I like to be out doors in any weather and find this poncho not only well built but keeps the water out and no sweat inside. Read more

I bought this due to it seeming tacticool, which it definitely is. I haven’t abused it yet, but it seems very solid and well made. Just be advised, it’s heavy, about 2.5 pounds. It’s also very large when packed away in its pocket. Others have stated that it isn’t exactly waterproof. I really don’t think this is a great choice to be used as a packable rain poncho, but is still a sweet piece of gear for the right person. Read more
