It cleans my teeth so well! I wouldn’t say the taste is bad but the smell is a little weird. I would say it smells like a twig which that’s pretty much what it is so I wasn’t surprised. It’s not an awful smell and I am not bothered by it. It has helped my teeth get whiter for sure and helps me be able to clean the plaque off of my teeth especially in the hard to reach places. This miswak stick was seemingly of good quality, but it smelled so strong of a bad smell of sour and chemicals that I had to get rid of it. The taste was a bit nauseating and the smell stayed on my hands and in my mouth for hours, it made the corner of my bathroom where it was smell so strongly that I had guests question what was rotting in the corner. My teeth have never been so clean. It takes some getting used to, but well with it. The smell is strong at first but I think it's just bc it's fresh out the package. I totally love this! I honestly haven't seen any results because the taste is really hard to get around but I don't really think that's something the company can change LOL but totally worth it if you're into a natural way to clean your teeth I still brush my teeth on a regular basis but you can always use this whenever you want! Cool root sticks peal off the end around the root it's very easy to do peal out to loosen the strands up and go to work on your teeth really helps to white tough spots. It does have a turnip kind of smell but it eases up when left sitting out. Read more
So opening the package is very unappealing. Its slightly damp, smells horrible, and its covered in a shiny crystal power, not what i think up when i think of a root of a plant. To me it smells and taste like stuff that make people crackheads. I did want to try it though. You cut the skin off with your nail, it peels very easy and you can rub it with your fingers to break it up instead of chewing it into a brush or lightly biting to help it break up more. Smells awful, taste like chemicals, but it did a great job at getting the plaque off my teeth and I feel like I got a partial cleaning at the dentist but its hard to get the back of your teeth so the fronts nice but the backs not great. Will definitely keep trying it to see if it whitens anything but I will still be brushing the back of my teeth and flossing and rinsing my mouth out because of the taste. Read more
