Sturdy, easy to put together, and it cleared up the entry space I needed to. I got the 3 tier. I have zero complaints. We received the bookshelf, and there was damage to each of the shelves in the same corner. There was only a thin layer of Styrofoam in the box, and since the box is so heavy, it must have been damaged during shipping. We didn't see the damage until it was all put together. The bookshelf assembled fairly easily with 2 people. The shelves are very heavy and well constructed. This is a beautiful bookshelf but the damage was pretty visible, so I contacted Customer service and they put me in touch with the seller. They were very responsive and assisted in getting a replacement sent in a timely manner. Read more

Very sturdy but not heavy. Took little finesse to attach boards, to line up screws with pre-drilled holes. Love the look but 2 boards had similar grain patterns. Looks like real wood though. Read more

I need to read these descriptions more closely. Not all wood is wood. If it says engineered wood, that means it’s some form of particleboard underneath a plastic veneer. That’s on me. I probably shouldn’t be expecting to find any furniture made out of wood on Amazon anyway. Otherwise, the item is well packed, easy to assemble, and apparently sturdy. It looks fine from a distance. The plastic veneer is better than most. There was no bad chemical smell. I am going to keep it and give it four stars because I shouldn’t ding the product severely for having a sketchy, though decipherable, description. Read more

This is an excellent bookcase for a narrow hallway. My husband and I had moved from a house to a two bedroom accessible apartment. All passageways must be passable. A Rollater Walker can easily pass through this area. Excellent Value. Easy assembly. I think it looks great! Read more
