Spent some time getting this thing to play blue-ray. Kept coming up switch to HMDI. There are 3 ports in the back of the monitor. I kept using the first 2, till I found out the 3rd port in HMDI. Bingo, it works. The question is how long will it work? I got a problem with these sets coming and going. Although, I do have a dvd player that's over twenty years old and plays great. I have somewhat of a collection, and I'm tired of changing the format, it's staying here. Besides, it's not all that expensive. So we'll see. And for a disc player, it has enough buttons on the remote to launch something somewhere by accident. If you have small fingers for this, you're better off. But it works, and I'm happy. Read more
