These are viable manual head massagers. They feel really good and provide a solid massage. The massager is extremely easy to use too. My only complaint and reason for taking off one star is they seem to lose their shape over time, making it more difficult to get it onto your scalp initially. The cost is justified, as long as you can prevent these from changing shape, its worth it. Read more

We had mixed responses to these head massagers in our house, both a very pleasant relaxing feeling and "weird." Since this review is supposed to be my opinion of the item, I'm going with "feels great." The one accessory I strongly recommend for best performance of this item is another person to use it on your head. So far, I haven't been able to procure one of those for the job so I'm stuck lifting my arm over my head, moving this up and down to massage my own head. With long hair, I can only move it up and down. The tips slide underneath my hair and fortunately don't get caught in it. With really short hair, you could probably turn it around as well, but I don't know if that would feel better or worse. The back scratcher works quite well. It's a fairly standard extendable back scratcher. The two head massagers and the back scratcher are all sturdy enough for reasonable use and seem to be well-made. They look cheap, but then they are being sold at a cheap price so I can't complain. They're quite functional but maybe not as pretty as I would like if I were giving them to someone else. Read more

I was very impressed with the box presentation that these came in - a beautiful black and red style box. They are built very well and durable - including the included backscratcher. The backscratcher is juuust perfect for getting that spot behind your left or right shoulderblade that you just cant seem to scratch on your own. These head massagers are crazy good too - they send shivers down my spine. They are incredibly easy to use - just plop the device on your head and push down slowly. Pull up slowly. For such a simple device you really get a bang for your buck here. Using this on my head is REALLY relaxing, like a hundred little tiny fingers running around your head. There's really nothing to it - just a bunch of wires that are positioned perfectly so that when you press them against your scalp they open up and run through your hair. But it's a new and odd sensation that will definitely give you a shiver and a tingle. My favorite part about this massager is sneaking up on someone from behind and running it down their scalp - they really jump and then just melt and close their eyes. For such a simple thing it's an easy way to get a quick massage and fast relief of stress and anxiety. Love it. Read more

This pack of head massagers and back scratcher is a good inexpensive gift for a friend but as a head massager for me it was not effective. I ran the head massager on my head gently and to me I didn’t find it relaxing nor did it feel good for me. However I used it on my knee and it was kind of nice to massage my knee cap. The backscratcher is very simple and a telescoping one that it allowed me to shorten and extend it to reach where I need it. All in all these head massagers and back scratcher make for a good inexpensive gift for a friend but note the head massager is not for everyone; it wasn’t a worthwhile device for me. Read more
