This cowl neck pullover sweater is super soft and cozy polyester. It fits true to size and the color is as shown in the photos. It was perfect with just a long sleeve tshirt underneath, but if you want a looser fit for more layering, you may want to size up. The cowl neck style mostly keeps your neck warm without needing a scarf, but it is not a turtle neck. The sleeves are nice and long and have plenty to hold onto when putting on a jacket, or if you have longer arms. The length of the sweater comes down past your hips and doesn't have a band; it's a loose fit. It does have a seam straight up the middle as part of the style, which elevates it from just a basic sweater. I threw this in the wash and dryer with my regular load and it came out perfect. I hate clothes that need extra maintenance so I appreciate that it's easy to clean. Ooh, I love this so much. It's super cozy and the quality is great; it held up in the wash, and the material has remained just as soft and hasn't gotten pilly or lint like so many fleeces tend to do. This review is for "Head Women's Cozy Cowl Neck Pullover, Relaxed Fit, Soft Midweight Material." I ordered the "Cherries Jubilee" color in a size Small, and the color is absolutely beautiful! The color truly does resemble a cherry red shade, as it is a soft shade of red, and it looks exactly as pictured in the product images. The pullover runs true to size and is not too loose or too tight. For reference, I am 5'4" and ~130lbs and a 34C cup. I love that the sleeves have plenty of room in them so that you can easily lift your arms over your head without feeling stifled, as you would with some jackets or pullovers that have tighter sleeves. The cowl neck is nice and roomy, and it is easy enough to pull it over your head without feeling like your head will get stuck, lol. You can also roll the cowl neck collar over if you prefer not to have your whole neck covered. I do wish that this had a quarter zip-style collar instead, as I like a bit of extra breathing room in the neck area, so keep that in mind depending on your preference. If you are comfortable with turtleneck shirts, you will have no problem with this cowl neck style of collar. The fabric is a super soft and cozy fleece material that is made of 100% polyester. The fabric has a medium thickness to it, so it will keep you warm in cooler weather, but it is not the best choice for super cold weather. I would say that this would keep you warm on a brisk 50 or 55 degree day (Fahrenheit), but it likely wouldn't be warm enough for colder weather than that. I also wish that this item had pockets in the front, given that it is designed to keep you warm, so it seems that it would make sense for it to pockets. However, I knew when ordering that it lacked pockets. Keep in mind that the sleeves do not have thumb holes either, so you may want to wear a lightweight pair of gloves if wearing this item outside on a brisk day. Overall, the quality is good, and this seems to be very well-made. I think it is a bit overpriced for what it is, but it will be nice for lounging around at home or going for walks on a brisk day. I ordered this for my wife, and overall it’s okay, but the fit is a little strange. The sizing didn’t feel quite right, even though we ordered what she normally wears. It’s not terrible, just not very flattering in the way it sits. One thing that stood out is a seam running down the front center. It almost looks like it was designed to have a zipper at some point, which makes the front look a bit odd when worn. That detail alone made it feel less polished than expected. If your intent is to wear it as a layer under a jacket, then it should keep you warm. The material itself is fine, but because of the fit and the front seam, we probably wouldn’t reorder this particular style. Even though it's called a cowl, the neck is not drapey like a cowl. It’s more like a loose turtleneck. The neck stands up or you can fold it down. The size is right, but it has drop shoulders and the sleeves are a little long for me, but they can be rolled up. The hemline falls a little below my hips. The fit is a little loose and boxy. The center seam runs down the front of the garment. The fleece is soft and warm, but it’s also lightweight. The dusty lavender color is pretty. The Head logo is embroidered at the back of the neckline and the name HEAD is embroidered down a side seam in the same color as the fleece. It's very subtle. Very soft, warm, and comfortable top. I was surprised at just how warm it was considering how thin it is. The color is a very nice medium blue. The cowl neck is the perfect height and width so that it doesn't feel like you are being choked. Since there was no size chart I went with my usual size small and I would say this top is an oversized small. It is definitely big on my 5'3" 112lb frame. I plan to wear it for lounging at home, so the size isn't a deal breaker for me, but I probably wouldn't wear it out since it makes me look a little dumpy. I think the $35 price tag is a little high and would say to wait until it goes on sale before purchasing. Overall a good choice though. Read more

This pull over from HEAD is really warm and soft. After I took it off, I wanted to put it right back on. It is well made and the fabric looks really high quality. I like that I can either leave the cowl neck up or fold it down depending on the weather/wind outside. Looking at the seams, it is well made. It will do well in the wash. I got the size XL and it does run true to size. I wear a size 14 in most clothes. AT the time of this review, this item pricing is in line with anything from a big box athletic wear store. Read more
