I’ve been using HeadBlade products—and specifically the HB6 refill blades—for over 20 years, and they’ve never let me down. The six-blade design delivers a consistently smooth, close shave with minimal irritation, and they’ve only improved over time. The blades are easy to swap out, last a good while, and work perfectly with the HeadBlade handle. Whether you're new to head shaving or a longtime user like me, these blades are reliable, efficient, and well worth it. After two decades, I can confidently say: nothing else compares. Read more

I bought this original Head Blade in 1998 a year after Todd invented it. At that time they sold for about $8 in most department stores. The key to using this particular original which had no wheels, shock absorbers or grease zerks was to keep the plastic bottom of the razor tight against your scalp while shaving. They used common everyday Astra double blades which are still avail today at very little cost. The blade was used from front to back with the white lube strip following the double blade. The ring finger still works fine after 25 years but I have replaced the plastic spring bar over the years. I have purchased different models with wheels, track ball and pivots but keep coming back to my original. The problem with all multi-blade head razors or face razors is that they do CLOG up with a lot of rinsing in between strokes. I use either the gel type Van Der Hagen or Body Shop Maca Root creams and defoliate with a good glycerine soap bar before applying the shave gel or cream and with no clogging.Any one that shaves with throw away plastic multi blade cartridges know that they clog. Double Edge single blade shavers are aware of this. I have only been shaving for 68 years and know a good razor and blades quite well. Both of the above creams are sold on Amazon. My review is only for the original 2 blade razor and reflects my opinions. Read more
