It works!
Must use for chemo aalnd radiation treatments. My son has used this during his chemo treatments to ward off mouth ulcers and used during his whole abdominal radiation to help protect his digestive system. It definitely aided him during both treatment cycles. He used unflavored and mixed with Gatorade during radiation. He didn't have any of the potential intestinal complications that he could have had. Definitely worth using from a prevention standpoint. Read more
Nobel Prize
This product was recommended to me by my Oncology Nutritionist for my mucositis. When my Radiation Oncologist heard her suggest it he said, skeptically, that if there is any product out there that can help me, it would deserve the Nobel Prize. I went ahead and took her advice and gave it a try. It works wonderfully! It greatly reduced the severity and duration of the sores. To be honest, my first thought was that it seemed a bit pricey, but it is well worth it for the results that I got. Here it is 9 months later and when I start to have a reoccurrence, I just use it again. It's easy to use. The unflavored version has a somewhat sweet taste, but in no way strong or off-putting. Not "mediciny" at all. Definitely a 5 star (Nobel Prize worthy) product. Read more

Works for fighting radiation therapy burn

Excellent product but please change the scooper!
Healios helped immensely while I was going through treatment. I got the unflavored, which has a light, pleasant taste. Very soothing going down. Highly recommend. The only negative - PLEASE change either the size of the scooper or the size of the neck of the bottle!!! It is VERY annoying to have the powder sprinkle over the sides and be wasted, because the scooper is too big for the neck of the bottle! Read more
