I bought this for my facility because it was time to upgrade our ancient scales. It arrived early! Box is kind of awkward when it arrives, so you will need someone to help you get it inside. The scale is easy to put together- all you need is a small phillips head screw driver. It does take, like 6 batteries and then you can also plug it into an outlet to keep charge. I weighed a few coworkers just to make sure it was accurate. It glides nicely, is easy to move and all the wheels are easy to lock/unlock unlike the old school chair scales. Easy for patients to get in and out and is not too low, arm rests are useful and also lift up out of the way if you need to transfer or use a slide board. The media could not be loaded. My sister-in-law likes to weigh my brother everyday so you can see if his water pills are working. She likes how the chair is lightweight and easy to move around. My brother lost part of his leg and so it’s hard for him to stand on a regular scale without holding onto his walker. In the video my brother had his prosthetic on and both of his feet were on the floor and that made him lighter in the chair. In all reality I was told that he weighed thirty pounds more.
