We owned our last Health o-meter for over 10 years before it finally broke. We bought this new one and for $20 we paid on sale you can't beat it at all. Easy to read and really built well and looks very nice. I ran tests on the scale since some reviewers were upset that the scale was not 100% perfect. I put on various weights on it and they were pretty much perfect. I did notice if the floor is not 100% level you might be off a 1/2 pound. The description said it kept 4 persons weights but it was only 2. But very simple to see what your last weight was and if you gained or lost a pound. I give the scale a perfect score. Read more

Liked it has replaceable batteries. Liked it keeps last weight for two people. 7/19/20 So far so good. The Health o meter Model HDM519dq7-15 that Amazon sells is a stripped down digital/tracking scale. I think what Amazon says about it is correct. It has a button on the bottom of the scale for Unit of Weight Measurement - Pounds (LB) or Kilograms (KG). Some Amazon customers have asked if it can be reset. I think it calibrates automatically. You can get a wrong weight if its set to the wrong units (KG vs. LB), or you stand incorrectly on the scale, or if the batteries are dying. It comes with no manual and none is available online so you just learn by using. For me it does the job. Read more

I bought this one because it's Health-o-Meter, which is a well-known brand, and it was a good price. It's attractive, easy to clean, easy to move. The display is very easy to ready. It seems very accurate. If I step on it several times, it displays the same weight. I like the 2-person weight memory. It does not have BMI, which I don't care about anyway. My only issue is that the corner tap doesn't work. It works to choose which user I am but not to start the scale. I have to stand on it to start it and wait for it to calibrate. Read more

I didn't know that a weight scale could suck. The first one I bought did not weigh me properly. (I know this because it would give me completely different numbers when I would weigh myself multiple times). This is at least accurate and straightforward. Read more

Here's a 3 month review...It is accurate within a pound. I've been to 5 different doctors, some multiple times, over the past months. Every time before stepping out for an appointment I weigh myself on this scale dressed and pockets full exactly how I will be weighed at the start of my appointments. Every time this scale is less than 1 pound different. Some reviews mention how it doesn't work when you tap on the corner to start it. This model just doesn't work that way, that's how my other Health-O-Meter scale works. With this reviewed model you just step on it, that is it and it will display your weight. Then after you step off you tap on the corner to compare previously recorded weights (1 or 2). Recommended and 5 stars. It works exactly as it should, is accurate within a pound and it cost around 20 bucks. Purchased this model 2 months ago. Noticed immediately that it gives different readings without moving and re-weighing. I have 3 other scales that all show identical weight. Wanted one with previous weight, so I bought this model. Contacted manufacturer who said "discontinued". They want me to ship, then they take 2 weeks to "analyze" and if refunded 4-8 weeks. They also deduct tax and shipping from refund. Do not buy this discontinued model and the company will tell you they do not have any models to replace under warranty. Total rip off do not buy this model with known defects. Did not figure out until after 30day return window. Read more
