I bought these earbuds before going to an edm concert and they couldn’t have worked better. Previously, I had attended one without any earbuds and after had my ears ringing. This time around the sound was muffled just enough to protect my ears, avoid that ringing, but still be able to enjoy the concert. For the price, without any previous knowledge of whether expensive ones would be any better, which may honestly not be that much different, I was happy with these. They’re comfortable and come in 2 different seizes and removal chords (optional) so you don’t loose them. Read more

These are a must have for any concert. They fit in any size ear and offer protection from loud sounds. They are soft and not sticky and keep their shape in the ear. The fact that they come with a carrying case is a game changer to keep them clean and you are able to attach them to your keys. They also work well for people with autism to block out any loud sounds in a bar or store while still being able to hear that person speaking to you. Could also be used for sleeping. Very disability friendly for sure. Read more

For the price, I thought they were very good in a concert scenario. I considered some more expensive options, but I've never user earplugs before at an event, so I figured I'd go cheap and see how it went. Does it sound like you just turned down the volume? Not exactly. It is a little muffled at first when you put them in, but I think you adapt. They definitely reduce the volume - and that's the main point and it is what I wanted them for. They do that pretty well and I thought they were comfortable. I did need to fiddle a bit to get them in far enough. The question is, do the more expensive options have a more linear volume reduction? I don't know without trying, but I doubt that the $40 range is going to be much different. $200+ options are probably better, and a must for actual musicians on stage. I liked these on my first concert trial. They are comfortable, fit well, protect your ears from high volume and look better than my friend's foam things sticking out of his ears. I bet they sound better than foam as well. Read more

I commute about an hour every day by motorcycle on the interstate. I use plugs under my helmet to help with wind noise and have used the expensive similar major brand to allow me to listen to my communication system. They work well. I’ve been using these for a couple of weeks And think they are just as good and are more comfortable at half the price. They are more comfortable because the silicone is thinner so the put less pressure on my ears. The others had to be installed just right to be long term comfortable. I don’t have to think about these they just work. They seal well and pass sound at the right level to use my Cardo system while protecting my hearing. The one outstanding question is whether the thinner silicone will hold up as well as my original ones. But, at this price even if they don’t they are worth it for the comfort. Read more

These are great. Getting the neck strap attached is a little tricky. You have to stretch the neck strap's end-holes over the soft silicone at the base of the ear plugs, while taking care not to allow the ear plugs' silicone to slip off the hard round black device that's in the end of the ear plug. Here's a picture showing the orientation...the smaller part of the neck strap's attachment points toward the ear plug. The picture also shows the black metal device that will pop out if you're not careful...the trick is to really stretch the neck strap's attachment hole, so it goes all the way around the base of the ear plug without causing the ear plug's silicone to slide at all relative to the hard round black insert. Sorry the photo's a little blurry, but you get the idea. As others have pointed out, the little case is poorly designed because the ear plugs get stuck in it and it's hard to fish them out...but it is a great idea to provide a little case with a mini-carabiner, so that these can live on the instrument case's zipper. The manufacturer would be wise to provide a wider case instead of this long narrow cylinder. Read more

I struggled to get them out of the metal container, needed tweezers to pull them out. but they do work in loud environments and feel comfortable. Read more
