I have to use sleepbuds with green or gray noise playing because my partner sounds like a freight train when she sleeps. I originally had Bose sleepbuds but when those gave out, Bose was no longer making them. Then I tried Snoozeband, but the material got stretchy and it messes my hair up pretty bad. Then I tried Luumun which allegedly has a great battery life. It does not. It lasts about 6 hours if I am lucky. Then I tried SoundOff, but those are really uncomfortable and only play their built-in pink noise which does not mask the sound of snoring. I was considering another pair of Luumuns, just switch them out after the first pair dies, but at $149 I just didn't want to deal with that. Then I saw someone mention these in a review, and I thought for $28 it's worth a try. I was a bit concerned the cords would get in the way while I slept, and maybe the battery wasn't as great as the description says. Boy was I wrong! Not only are they comfortable, but the sound quality is good enough that I didn't hear the freight train--I mean my partner--during the night, the earbuds stayed in, the cords weren't even noticeable, and the battery lasted the 11 hours I slept (have been sleep deprived due to having no feasible sleep buds). Highly, highly recommend! Who knows if they'll last, but from what I've seen in the reviews, it's a good company that stands by their product. Read more
I use these almost every night, to listen to a movie as I fall asleep. They're extremely comfortable, you can lie with your ear smooshed right into the pillow, and the earbuds won't become bothersome. You don't even know they're there. And, unlike other earbuds of this type, the controls are very solid and easy to navigate by touch. Almost immediately, I was able to reach up and with one thumb, adjust the volume or change tracks, WITHOUT hitting the wrong button and having to actually wake up to get back on track! The Bluetooth connectivity is solid -- once they were paired with my phone, the two of them have been able to find each other right away, every time. The sound quality is pretty good for something so tiny, especially for listening to just TV content or podcasts. The battery life is VERY impressive. I frequently fall completely asleep wearing them, running the battery all night, and they're still going when I wake up. Got me spoiled now, I keep forgetting that you do, occasionally, need to charge them. One tiny glitch, probably just my unit: when I turn them off, the little voice saying "Power Off" is very faint. I've learned to listen close, to make sure they're off. Read more
I have bought these headphones a few times and they are the best I have found for sleeping. I don't like the noises of the house, only my music or sometimes no music at all, they work well at blocking the noise. The updated version has flatter buds which is great for when you're on your side but I don't like that the plug was changed, they can be a pain to plug in and they're the only thing that I have that uses the updated plug. Be careful when removing them from ears, the wires are thin and do pull out easy which is the only reason I have had to replace them, remove them from the ear bud don't pull by the wire. Read more
I started listening to the radio at night when I started using a CPAP machine to distract me from what sounded like Darth Vader breathing in my ears. I've tried several wireless headphones and they were uncomfortable, would pop out and get lost in the bed or run out of battery life. So I had to settle for corded earphones until now. I haven't had these for long but I am in love. They fit my ears comfortably, the battery lasts all night, great sound quality for music and great value!!! They do seem very delicate and the description says they are for sleeping, so I treat them carefully. It seems like past reviewers may have used at the gym, thrown them into gym bags and they didn't last long. My only complaint is that there is no battery level shown. But what do you want for that price? I was going to buy a few pair for backup and may still, but Hearprotek seems so responsive to criticism that they keep making improved models. Great product! Thank you Hearprotek so much. Just want to add that I have an iPhone 15 and if you swipe to the right the far left page shows how much battery is left on the headphones. Read more
Best I have found to drown out noise while sleeping and comfort. However, they wear out every few months. Read more
Love these. I have had at least 3 pairs of Hearprotek headphones and they all work amazing with great battery life. I have only had to replace them when they wear out after months of daily nd nightly use. When I say they wear out I mean the cables get caught and pulled which results in damage to the headphones. Other than that issue they sound great and even work well for phone calls. I use them every night for sleeping. Read more
My return window expired 5 days ago and they just stopped working. They worked great for a few weeks but now they disconnect after turning on and playing for about 10 seconds. Disappointing, for sure. Read more
