It's incredible. I feel fortunate that I got one that didn't have any issues. I purchased this back in January over a year ago. Since my home dips into the 40s F at night, it's been nice to have since I don't have to worry about heating the entire home. I only have central heat. Maybe when I get a heat pump, but until then, this unit is perfect with a leg warmer. I'm super happy with how well it works and it keeps my finger tips and coffee warm until the house warms up in the afternoon. Saved me tons of money this year alone! Read more
If your circulation isn't great, or it's just flippin' cold on your desk, this baby will heat you up. I've tried gloves (heated, fingerless, and regular) and each had drawbacks that left my hands and fingers either remaining cold or not able to feel what I was doing. I tried small space heaters too that heated up everything else but my fingers. Shy of doing a lot of redneck engineering to make the space heater work I was left without any good option... Until I got this heated pad. Wow! Immediately I felt relief. This thing heats up QUICK and makes my hands and fingers relieved from the aching cold. Considering it didn't cost much this was a super deal and it looks great to boot. The surface is easy to clean, and it isn't overly thick and spongy like some desk pads. I can write on normal paper easily on top of it, and use my mouse without a pad due to the faux leather texture. The back has a little stickiness to it which keeps it from sliding around too, which is something that other desk pads did annoyingly do. Overall, it is a huge value for me and my wife. The only other notes I will make is that it does require an actual plug in and not a USB, and given that, you may have to do like I've shown in the second picture and turn the pad around. Not a big deal for me, but just something to keep in mind if you want to put the control at the top left of the pad instead of bottom right depending on your plug in. Read more
Where have been my whole life? Wow this desk pad is exactly what I was looking for. I no longer need to run the space heated under my desk. This pad heats up in a few seconds and keeps my hands, wrists, fingers and eventually my entire body warm. The science behind it is due to the blood vessels that run through your wrists. I remember reading that if you warm (or cool) your wrists, the heat will quickly transfer through your whole body via blood circulation. I have only used this one day and it is performing wonderfully. I will return to adjust this review if the unit fails like some of the others have. I will be keeping it unplugged when not in use at my office. It's not all roses, however. The power levels are quite similar and even the lowest setting seems too warm after a while. It actually makes my hands sweat after a while. I need to switch it off from time to time, allowing the warm desk to keep radiating heat. Also, it gives off quite a smell, but I expect this will dissipate after a couple of days. I keep my keyboard and mouse just off the top of this, so my entire forearm is resting on the pad. My biggest gripe is that I didn't know about this sooner. Fingers crossed it doesn't fail anytime soon. Edit: Chiming in to say that this pad is still running strong in my second winter using it. I bought this because my office at work is colder than the rest of the office and my hands are always cold. This pad works great, I find myself laying my hands front and back to warm them up. Pros - it does the job. Cons - Once the pad heats up, my wireless mouse starts to "stick" to the pad and movement is no longer smooth. It doesn't actually stick, but you can really feel the movement hinder from the heat, so I'm thinking of putting a smaller mouse pad on top of it. The other con is not really against the pad itself, but I have a u-shaped desk and this pad is rectangle so there are parts of my arm that are on the desk and also on the pad at times. I really didn't notice anything with my last regular pad, but on a heated pad you can really feel the temp difference and makes resting your arm on your colder desk uncomfortable. Again, this con has no reflection on the pad itself and is just a "FYI". I would recommend buying this pad if you want your hands to warm up. I haven't used it for anything else. Read more

I bought this for my son and he loves it. I also tried it out... then bought myself one. It has 3 temperature settings and a timer that turns off so it isn't on constantly. I have only started on the medium heat and it was perfect. Read more
This heated desk pad really works. But be careful on the high setting it melted a plastic cap that was sitting on top of something that was sitting on top of it. But my hands were warm. Goal accomplished. Read more
