Perfect. Works like a charm and has held up to infrequent use over the last eight years. Yes, EIGHT YEARS! I probably use this several times a year to install heatshrink tubing over wires. I used this 4 separate times for some small cellphone repairs and it heats the screen very well and has a nice attached stand that you can rest the gun on without paying attention to it. It did not work for me one time though. Not sure what happened but I used it, turned it off and then tried to turn it on again but nothing. Tried different outlets on different circuits, it eventually turned back on but if you want to use this more than 1 or twice a month I'd maybe pick another option. Read more

This item worked great the first time, and I was happy to get it quickly. But the second time I used it heated up, then quickly made a popping sound and fizzed out. Hopefully it was just a dud, I'm hoping to get a replacement. Read more
