I was still on the stock tubes that came with my scooter and a wire took it out. I've only been riding on one of the pair I bought for a few weeks now, and I did add sealant, so I can't attest to just how long they will last, and when I can it will be longer than had I not added the sealant, but I recommend everyone should do so, especially on the rear tire where the motor is, because it's a chore to change.
