This is a fully featured, good quality and high capacity coat rack which, if you are willing to disassemble it when not in use, can be stored in gym bag which takes up very little space compared most other coat racks. The reason is that this coat rack does not have the one or two five foot long by 18 inch wide wire rack shelves which are typically found on similar coat racks. These rigid wire rack shelves cannot be folded up and thus take up lots of space in storage. In contrast, this coat rack replaces the wire rack shelves with equally functional shelves made from fabric which can be rolled up and take little space. Similar coat racks also usually are constructed of long tubes sometimes up to five or more feet in length. This coat rack in contrast is assembled with interlocking tubes, none of which are longer than about 14 inches individually. All this means I am able to disassemble and store this coat rack when its not in use in a relatively small gym bag which fits easily in a closet or small space. The coat rack does not come with a carry bag, but I easily found a very inexpensive one on Amazon which measures 40 liters or 11 gallons and is 20” long x 12” high x 8” wide which can hold all the parts from the disassembled coat rack. (See photos.) In order to take up so much less space, this coat rack does come with lots more parts to assemble than some other coat racks. But I found assembly to be simple and straight forward, if a bit tedious. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble the coat rack for the first time. Conclusion: If you are looking for a coat rack that you assemble once and leave set up indefinitely, then this model presents a very good value and has all the clever features, bells and whistles, to securely hold plenty of clothes all of sizes and lengths. If you are looking for a coat rack which you want to use intermittently, and when not in use store away in the absolutely smallest space possible for periods of time and don’t mind some lengthy assembly and disassembly, then this model is for you. If you are looking for a coat rack to store folded up under your bed or other larger space, and which sets up and puts away quickly when needed, then this is probably not the model for you. I had one of these from a different brand that had a slightly lower weight rating. One day it got knocked over and a bar on top broke right in half. My hopes really got up there when this came along and saw the metal rods considerably more than thick than what I had before. The list price for this wasn't that much different than the prior one. It came in a box with a lot of pieces but putting it together took me about an hour. It went together fairly easy and I highly recommend watching the video tutorial all the way through that is listed in the manual. The clothing rack felt sturdy and pretty strong until after it was all together. It didn't look quite straight when it was all done and would wobble when it was being rolled, so I flipped it over and took a good look at where the wheels are attached. The metal they are screwed into is fairly thin and can be easily bent. I had to bend it a bit to get it to sit straight and roll smoothly. I should have paid more attention when I was adding them on in the last step. I can't say with 100% certainty that I wasn't at least in part to blame for the initial stance and wobble. There is a place in my closet where this will add more rack space without overwhelming the area. For my purpose they're going to stay in one place and seldom if ever be moved, so I decided to just remove the wheels. In that configuration, they are working just fine. DO NOT BUY. Deceptive since it doesn’t not have the horizontal support as promoted in the picture. CLEAR BAIT AND SWITCH. This probably was the cause to it breaking 24 hours into use. This clothes rack holds an insane amount of clothes, shoes and everything else in your wardrobe. It was not difficult to assemble and the dual racks give you all the space you need. It appears to be very sturdy and the wheels allow it to be placed anywhere with no trouble. Read more
