Why did you pick this product vs others?: I spent a lot of time looking at support for my 4 young apple trees I am planting this week. Everything I came across at the big stores was either ugly, poor quality, or more expensive. Is it weird that the first thing that drew me to this was the aesthetics? I got it today really, and it is a good looking kit! Sturdiness: This is very nicely made with sturdy, wide straps and clean finishes. Nothing that will dig into my trees or cause damage. Quality: The quality of the straps are excellent, and the posts are nice solid, heavy metal with a black finish. They remind me of my better quality tent stakes I bought to replace the factory stakes. Ease of use: These are very easy to use and have a quick set-up insert. Length: They come with plenty of rope to cut to the desired length. Support: There is a contact information for support in the insert and includes an email. Value for money: This is easily the best kit I have found for the money! It’s pretty, not an eyesore. It gives more than adequate support. It’s very well made, and it’s a breeze to set-up. We planted 9 trees in our back yard last year and love how they've improved the appearance of our landscaping. But in the fall we had numerous powerful storms, and one of the trees—a Holly that was 6' at the time—got slightly uprooted due to high winds. We pushed it back into the ground as best we could, but we weren't confident that it would remain there if another powerful storm appeared. So we purchased this tree kit, added the wraps to the trunk, put the white string through them, and then used the stakes to anchor the tree in a triangular fashion into the ground to ensure wind couldn't push it too much in any one direction. We're so happy with the results. After about 8 months, the tree is growing great and looks beautiful (minus a small amount of damage from this year's cicadas). The stakes are very low in the ground, so they're not a concern for mowing. The white string shows up perfectly against the green grass, so we can avoid it with the weed eater. Also, we've had more strong storms, but this stake kit has held our tree in place through all of them. It's sturdy, easy to install, and works great. I don't know how long we'll leave them attached to the tree, but for now I wouldn't consider removing these three stakes. Read more

Was exactly what I was looking for. The straps that go around the tree itself are a good width so as to protect the tree and not to gouge into the bark. After implementing this support system it was extremely sturdy. It is very easy to use and was a great value for what I spent. Read more

I planted arborvitae in May and 3 started growing wonky. I bought these to help straighten them out without damaging the delicate trees. The strap that goes around the tree was non damaging and the ground spike was cleverly designed to withstand wind snd whatever Mother Nature threw at it! Read more

This is a great kit for supporting trees - the rope and the pulls are high quality and the stakes go deep into the ground and provide helpful support in tying the rope to them. We used these to try and pull our apple tree more straight as it was growing extremely crooked. It has held up and kept the tree in place and hopefully we can try to straighten it out even more after this. Read more

I'm using these to stake a small hydrangea tree and so far they're working perfectly. The metal stakes are hefty and drive in the ground easy enough. Very satisfied with the quality of the rope as well. Expected some cheap twine but this is decent rope that should last awhile outdoors. Straps seem soft enough that they won't damage the bark on my hydrangea "trunk" either. Super happy with this set. Read more
