This baby towel has easily become our favorite towel and the one we like to use every time. The coral fleece is incredibly soft and cozy, and it dries our baby quickly without feeling heavy or rough. The large size is perfect and it fully wraps them up and keeps them warm after bath time. The dinosaur design is absolutely adorable and makes them look so cute all bundled up. My little one loves being wrapped up in it, and it honestly feels more like a cozy blanket than a towel. Let me start by saying this is adorable. The elephant hood, the little crown, the soft fuzzy fabric, all of it is extremely cute and cozy. But I need to be honest because the product name says towel and my brain expected dry the baby fast after bath time energy. This is not really that. This feels much more like a fuzzy robe or wearable blanket than an actual drying towel. The material is super soft and plush, almost blanket like, which makes it amazing for after you already dried your child or for getting out of bed, lounging, or staying warm after bath time. If you are expecting a highly absorbent traditional towel material, this may not match that expectation. The snaps at the collar are actually great and help keep it in place, which makes it practical for wiggly little humans. The size is generous and feels like it will last through different growth stages, similar to what another reviewer mentioned about it working beyond the baby phase into toddler years. My personal plan is to use this as a cozy post bath robe or morning snuggle wrap rather than as the main drying towel. It shines in comfort and cuteness, just not in traditional towel absorption performance. My daughter is obsessed with this unicorn hoodie towel and pretty much huddles half the day in it constantly. Not only is it really cute, the fleece is super soft and warm, perfect for the fall to winter weather. The towel's construction is superb, easy and safe to wash without shrinkage or fraying, durable stitching, and no issues with color fading despite a couple handfuls of washes it has been through already. The fleece's material is one of the softest I've ever felt and I'm super jealous that I don't have one in an adult size so I can laze around in it also. The only con I can think of is that I wish they had more super cute girl designs, we would absolutely grab them just so we can have a rotation. I ordered the green dinosaur hooded towel from HECCEI, and I was instantly impressed at how large it was. Many of our other baby towels are really tiny, and our baby has already outgrown them. This towel is big enough that it can also be used into toddlerhood. I was also happy with how soft it was. This is definitely a more plush towel than your typical terry cloth, so it feels almost blanket-like. Our baby has sensitive skin, so the softness is a big plus for us. Finally, the design is pretty cute. The hood shows a winking dinosaur face with little yellow spikes down the back, and the towel itself has dinosaur embellishment on the material itself. I was impressed with the thickness of this kid's towel. In the past, other hooded towels I have purchased for my children have been pretty thin. They are soft and cute, but they don't absorb much water actually. This one is really thick in comparison, very fluffy and plush. It's still SUPER soft as well. It's also fairly large. It measures 55" or 4ft 7in wide and over two feet tall, so definitely will cover a baby and toddler's body. It may also be a good size for smaller 4-5 year olds, but after that, it is probably too small. It also comes packaged in a nice box, so nicely packaged to gift to someone if you wanted.
