I have another pair of boots that are this style - fold over cowboy boots - and I get compliments on them constantly. They're bright red though and I wanted something that I could wear with more things and these are perfect! I think the little lock on them adds a cute touch and they look great with both jeans and dresses. I love boots of all kinds and have a ton of regular cowboy boots and I love that these are a little more unique. There's also something kind of '90s/'00s raver feeling about them, which is fun, but it's not over the top or obvious. Maybe it's just because I feel like I'm wearing those big leg warmers/boot covers when I wear them haha. They're super comfortable too! They have a wedge heel so there's a lot of hidden support. Sizing is also perfect if you have "regular" sizing - they're probably too narrow if you normally need wide width shoes though. Usually when it comes to pointed toe boots, I'd order a size up. These only go up to my actual size which is 9.5 so I took a shot in the dark and ordered anyway. These fit my feet perfectly!! Even though I have wide and flat platypus feet, these were comfortable straight out of the box. The style is even more over-the-top (in a good way) in person and I can't wait to wear these! The one and only complaint I have is that I wish there was a zipper to get out of them quicker but they're worth the few extra minutes. Read more

I’m amazed that these actually fit over my calves. Regular boots are usually too tight, and wide calves boots are usually too big. There fit well. I love the look of them, but the lock detail on them does seem cheaply made. I will say, these are not easy to remove though. Read more

I love this style of boot - with the foldover “leather.” I think it’s really attractive and slimming. The foldover part gives the illusion of wearing of flare jeans. I’m between a 7.5-8 w/a narrow heel. I ordered these in 8, a good choice, because 7.5 would’ve been too small. My only issue, and maybe I didn’t search hard enough, but I couldn’t find a heel length. I just hoped these were disguised as a shorter wedge heel and took my chances. Well, the heels are def high! I’m guesstimating at least 2.5 to 3” max. While I can wear these, it won’t be for long amounts of time. For you ladies (and men) who are pros at wearing high heels, you will love these. I have a girlfriend who can run in stilettos while I’m just happy to maintain an upright position. The quality of these are lovely and these definitely look like a more expensive pair of boots. I received these through Amazon Vine at a discounted price in exchange for my review but do feel the price is fair. I would be so thrilled if these came in a shorter heel.
