Very sturdy. Even when I've really heavily filled these bags they have never broken open. Once filled the bags don't close. I have to twist the ties around them a few times, knotting them to close the bags. Read more

i had given these a 1 star review because they seemed so thin and flimsy and the box got wet and the dye from it got stained all over the cabinet floor under my sink and i had to scrape it off with a razor blade-they're o.k. but i thought hefty would be better quality. maybe i just have to get used to them Read more
