The stands work great. They are sturdy and don't wobble around when one of my kids stomp through the living room. The only problem is that the back of my sectional sofa is taller than these stands. I probably should have measured that before ordering these stands. I didn't return them though. I just set the speakers up on each end of the sofa. These stands go together fairly easily. The speakers also look better on the sides of my sofa than they did crammed on a bookshelf. Read more

I had just bought the VIZIO 5.1.2 sound bar system. I wanted to make sure I had no obstruction of sound and thus I purchased these stands for two reasons. First was reading others reviews and confirming their fit with a VIZIO system and can confirm the rigidity and stability of the unit, ...thank you reviewers. Second was the height, they were taller than the others I was looking at (stated at 42") and they clear my couch by about 6", which is just what I was look for. It gives me the versatility to move the satellite speakers about anywhere I want. My only cry is about these is the feed hole for the connector, not a fan of wrapping it on the outside, I wanted it as clean as I could get it. They made the bottom feed hole 1/2" W x 1" L, which was jussssst enough for my connector to fit in. BUT!...for the outlet it was only 1/2" x 1/2", this makes zero sense. Works fine if your just pulling wire, but I fed the connector. A NOTE: for feeding the tube, either drop a string down it after its together to pull the wire. Or do as I did and feed the line as your putting the pieces together. You may have to fiddle with a connector to get it to go, but it will if it fit if it goes in the bottom feeder. Also, depending how clean a look you want, put a small notch in the base of the plastic collar so it sits flush on the plate with the wire running under it. Anyways back to the review, ...I wound up taking my mini-die grinder and milling it to a 1" length to pull the connector out. Be absolutely sure you file or sand off any sharp edges so as to not cut the wire or catch your finger. You'll need to paint it after or cheat like I did and use a black magic marker for the time being. Afterward I had a great surround sound experience Hope this helps anyone who reads this and I highly recommend this unit, especially for the price. If I implement some other ideas I have, I'll update this review. Read more

These speaker stands are really nice and the base plate is nice and heavy and rounded and weighted so that you don't have to worry about any leaning or tipping. The assembly was super easy and these work with a variety of different types of speakers I use these with a set of Polk audio speakers. I love that you can adjust the height so easily and that they give you a couple different options of mounting. Super good product and quality made. 5 of 5 overall. Read more

For the most part, it is a fantastic stand; it does the job. Now, if you are trying to put them on top of the rug, it will wobble a little. But overall, it is heavy. So I put it next to my nightstand. I gave it four stars because, yes, as you may have read, the assembly can drive you insane, but take it slow, open a beer, and you should be fine. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. It would have been a 5-star if the stand itself were heavier and the assembly were easier. Read more

I didn’t fully realize what I was missing sound wise with my surround sound speakers until I bought these stands. Prior to getting these, I had placed my speakers on shelves about 2 or 3 feet behind my listening position. Needless to say I was missing out on much of the surround sound experience that the speakers provided. These stands have made all the difference as far as sound immersion and clarity are concerned. However, as mentioned by some other reviewers, these stands are not entirely compatible with my LG speakers. The power plugs when inserted behind each LG speaker were bumping into the poles, causing each speaker to be tilted to the side once installed. I figured out a workaround to this issue by stacking a leftover plastic spacer from a tabletop television stand I had put together with the rubber spacer that was provided with each stand. This provided just enough of a buffer to prevent the speaker plug from interfering with the C pole after installation. The speakers looked much straighter after doing this. This is not a big deal but I wish that the holes on the stand poles were wide enough to run the power cords through so that I could conceal them for each speaker. My LG speakers are wireless so there are no other wires to run through the poles. I opted to use black plastic zip ties to strap the power cords to the poles instead of the Velcro straps provided. These gave the speaker stands a cleaner, more appealing look. These minor issues aside, I would still recommend these speaker stands. They’re a good deal for the price. Read more

I bought these for my new Vizio surround sound speakers. They were incredibly easy to set up and customize for my brand of speakers and my living room. Different sets of hardware accommodated different speaker sizes and depths. The flat bases tuck under furniture, making them surprisingly sturdy. There are knobs to allow for different heights, and the angle can change the projection of the speakers. I feel these stands are a great value for the money. Read more
