Wanted some 'technical' pants but was put off by the cost of the Norwegian brand. Ordered a pair, liked them and ordered another different colour. Fit is spot on, material is comfortable but need more time to assess durability (suspect it'll be fine), like all the pockets especially the supposed flashlight inner pouch that fits my phone perfectly so it doesn't bounce around or turn sidewise, lots of belt loops and I appreciate the raised padded back band. Good pants. Second verse same as the first... Arrived before promised exactly as ordered. With a little experience as well as mentioned above, really like the velcro closure at the waist and the adjustable shock-cord as the cuffs. I just got back from a 9 day trip to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota (BWCA). These are the only pants I brought to wear the entire trip and they did not let me down. We saw all types of different weather while on our fishing trip from 50 degrees to 96 degrees, full sun and thunderstorms. They are comfortable and very durable, after sitting in the sun all day and hiking many portages, I can not find one thing wrong with my pants. No snags, tears, rips nothing. They have a small amount of stretch and seem to stay very clean after kneeling in the dirt. Overall, I would say these are the best pants for outdoors and bushcraft I have ever owned, even after owning several pairs of fjallraven pants. Awesome job Helikon-Tex! Read more

32X32 Fits well overall, but is a little tight in the groin. Able to squat well, but remains tight. Cargo pockets are alright, but I'd prefer they be a bit larger. During a 15 mile backpacking trip, the seem near the crotch started to rub against my leg uncomfortably. Read more

Great pants for hiking, durable materials, loadsa pockets for keys and wallets and stuff, and I like the bit of extra protection at the back for the kidneys. Sizing seems right. Unlike some other reviewers, I quite liked the Velcro fastener. Be careful of the colors you choose - the Red Crimson I chose was a little bright - restricting what it can be worn with, and not everybody likes the black knee or butt patches.
