So far so good! I truly feel this is making a bit of a difference in how warm our RV is staying. I bought two, one for above the bunk cab vent and one for the back bedroom (forgetting there's a vent in the bathroom as well) so I will be buying one more. We are living in our almost 20 year old RV full time and temps have gotten down to 34° so far. I would definitely recommend this to someone RVing in a cooler climate. Well worth the $14! We bought this for use in our travel trailer. We have traveled extensively (more than 9000 miles) in the trailer this year and this vent pillow made a big difference. It is amazing how much it helps to insulate, both from hot sun and from cold. We use it in the roof vent over our bed and the insulating quality is very noticeable. It blocks about 75% of the light, not all of it. When we need it totally dark, we just slip a sheet of aluminum foil inside the cushion. The cushion stayed in place over all types of roads and in all types of weather. It is not quite as big as the ones sold in camping stores, but does the job quite well. The square fits perfectly in the roof opening. I wanted one that blocked the light also, so I put a sheet of foil on the top side and pushed the "pillow" in and it works great! Now I have warmth and light block. Read more

Arrived as promised. Opened packaged and installed, just that easy! Perfect fit and keeps in the cold/warm air as promised but also the light! Easy to take down and wash cover that is removeable . That is a plus because you could replace the cover if it becomes dirty due to smoke or age. The price was good. would purchase again. Read more

I was desperate for these vent pillows and despite the few negative ratings I decided to go ahead and take a chance anyway. First of all, they are thinner than the ones you get at Camping World but, they do the job. My space heater was only able to raise the temperature inside my camper to 20 degrees warmer than the outside temperature. I carefully monitored temperatures for about two months... This morning the temperature inside my camper was 60 degrees and the outside temperature is 32 degrees. So, I have an 8 degree gain in heat. I have an older 1994 Prowler 5th wheel that is 29 feet and I needed vent pillows for the kitchen and bathroom. So... perhaps I may have gained another degree or so by buying super thick ones from Camping World but, with shipping included I would have paid $12 more total than what I paid for these two pillows. I'm looking for price, quality and ability to do the job and these did all three. I would recommend these pillows... don't be afraid ... they are good pillows.
