Hero - Chuckles Ball Plush Dog Toy - Dog Squeaky Toys - Durable Ball with 3 in 1

My two German Sheppard boys love soft, squishy toys, and unfortunately, not durable hard-to-chew toys made for large dogs with huge fangs. They also are thinking dogs and like to be entertained, so plain twisted ropes are not iteresting for them. These chuckle balls are great solution! They cry, squick, chuckle, 'laugh' and scream 'ouch-ouch!', 'oy-oy!'. Boys just adore them! Yes, the balls get holes in them within minutes....I buy size large, as they last a few minutes longer. The balls are squishy, they roll, while chuckling, both dogs love them so much that they sleep each hugging the ball. I always buy 2, so they do not squabble. Wish more toys would have that 'laughing' chuckling mechanism. Also, why are dog toys cost so much? Does a polyester ball with 'chuckle' bar and stuffing inside really cost $20+tax? Read more

My two yellow labs love Hero brand stuffies. So much so, that my girl who never had a favorite toy, fell in love with R39VIXDA5AFJO9 Hero Chuckles Monkey that was originally acquired for her stuffy loving brother. So, when her birthday came around, I bought her another monkey and this Hero Chuckles BALL. I wasn't sure which size to go with. The LARGE ball is shown as being PINK, and measuring 9" x 7" x 5" (which is also the approximate size of her Monkey) The MEDIUM ball is shown as being BLUE, and also measuring 9"x 7" x 5" So, either they dont have different sizes, or something is off. Hope they clear it up. I took a look at reviews and the picture for one shows a pink ball with a medium label. SO I chose the PINK ball thinking that that size would be good (whether it was actually medium or large). I got a BLUE ball, and it is quite large! A little bigger than the monkey. Well, I guess it matches the height, and the width of the monkey bum. Just all filled out and mostly round. so yeh it appears bigger. I had expected this size to be a turn off for my large labs (they prefer smaller stuffies) but my boy really took to it. So the monkey originally intended for my boy was taken over by my girl, and this ball originally purchased for my girl was taken over by my boy. It is so soft and squishy that he has no problem grabbing onto it, playing with it, walking around with it. Soft, charming looking. Has the "giggle" when rolled or thrown. Has a tennis ball look to it, yet is soft and squishy. Just like Monkey. Can you imagine the cuteness of each dog with their respective Hero Chuckles toy in their mouth waiting at door to go outside? Or how stinking heart warming it is for them to grab these stuffies (out of hundred, easily) ready to go up to bed? I love that they love these toys so much. Durability? I dont have destructive dogs. They play a little tug of war with these toys, but they aren't trying to tear it apart. On the 1st monkey that I got 9 months ago, I had to sew a loosened seam, but nothing since. And nothing on the ball. If you have destructive dogs, no toy is safe.. especially stuffies. Yet this certainly isn't cheap or weak either. My labs play hard, they just dont seek to destroy. These toys hold up fine to that. Something special about the Hero products. Since my labs love it, then I love it. 5 stars. Despite the mild confusion on color, size.. the toys is wonderful, and I'd buy more Hero products for sure At $15, I find it to be a reasonable price. Hope they keep it that way Read more

My dog loved the squeaker. But the seam ripped open and he disemboweled the whole thing while I walked away to use the bathroom. It was literally less than 15 min from opening the box to this pic. It was so cute… but it’s not for bigger dogs or chewers. I wouldn’t buy for more than $7-9 in the future. Read more

My dog absolutely loves this ball. She is a corgi and loves toys that make that “giggle” sound. She jams her face into it and carry’s it around with her. It lasts about a month before she rips the squeaker out. Considering she is not a ball dog she loves it!! Read more

It doesn't chuckle as much after a few days. It currently is still holding in good condition, probably because my pup lost interest in it since it doesn't chuckle as much anymore. Nice toy otherwise. Read more

My dog loves these hero toys and so do his humans. They don't have that ear piercing squeak. But entertain my dog during the winter months. Durability is okay, my do doesn't rip it apart, but he squeezes it and eventually the seams come apart. (German shepherd) Read more

I have ordered this toy for my dog 3 times. Every time I think I'm ordering the PINK one (because that's what it says in the description), I receive a different color. My dog LOVES this ball. It's the only one she will play with. The first ball came apart at a seem and my dog disembowled it the first day. We sewed it back together many times before we gave up and ordered another ball. The second ball (that wasn't pink either) stopped making sound shortly after we received it. Hopefully the 3rd one will last longer but $18 is a lot of money to pay for a dog toy that doesn't hold up for very long. If she didn't love it so much, I would have stopped buying it after the first one. Read more
