Boodle has had his Hero toy for about 2 years. He is obsessed with playing fetch and catch. This toy has a crazy bounce so if he lets it hit the ground, it will keep him guessing which way it springs. He loves to play catch, and this toy is soft enough that it won't damage his teeth if he catches it from 20ft up in the air. He also loves to just gnaw on it for long stretches. It has pointy nubs that scrub along his gumlines, keeping his teeth in great condition. He is a crazy avid chewer, and can kill a Kong toy in under 5 minutes. I just bought a pair of these for the 2nd time. We put peanut butter and kibbles in the pockets and use as a mid-day treat. After 3 yrs, the first two were beginning to be pretty chewed up, although still working. The dogs are able to work the bigger pieces out within the hour, but will spend then spend the next few hours trying to work the last bits out of the pockets. It will definitely keep them busy for an entire afternoon. Given the price, for them to last 2-3 yrs seems very reasonable. We have a lab and german shepard, so we got the large size. Read more

I fill this with treats or cheese and it keeps my dog busy while I work. She chews on it and tosses it around to try and dislodge the goodies. Very sturdy and good for aggressive chewers. Read more

My 40 lb mini golden-doodle tore the tips off and bit through the thin edge in ten minutes. He ate the pieces. Very disappointing, not a chew toy for aggressive chewers. Not durable and not thick. He did like the crazy bounce and liked chasing it. I have a different Hero ball (the double ball) which has thick "wings" and has held up for many months. Read more

This works much better than most bully stick holders. My Aussies love to play with the ball when the bully stick gets smaller. You can also hide little treats in the smaller spots for the dog to get out. Great activity for your dog on a rainy day. Read more
