Super comfortable and warm! If the weather had been any colder than I expected, I probably would’ve needed to layer this with something else, but since it was just a little chilly, it was perfect on its own. You can dress it up or dress it down, which is a huge added benefit. I also really appreciate that it’s breathable. The materials are great, the shirt fits well and the leggings fit fine. The legs don’t go quite all the way to the ankle, and the sleeves are an awkward length between a 3/4 sleeve and true long sleeve. I ride on two wheels year round. After trying a few different brands around five years ago or so I found Hero Biker to be the softest and warmest for my money's worth. They are just the right amount of thickness without feeling smothered. The fit is perfect for a base layer. I wear the top under my shirt every day. I live in a cooler climate where you need more than just a shirt. I was given this brand three years ago and ordered myself three new colors this year. They didn't change, they are the same great comfort. There is a little fleece on the inside, so they are never cold when you put them on. They do not shrink and are the same wash after wash.
