Cute striped two-piece! It’s non-see through, always a win. It’s got a softer or silkier feel to it making it quite comfortable. The only drawback is, the top runs slightly large in the cup. Not enough to take it out of rotation. But enough to make me wish it was smaller. For the price though, it’s fine. I also like that it can be adjusted at the shoulders. This is such an adorable bikini, and I cannot wait to wear it! Unfortunately, it became winter virtually overnight in my area, so pending an unplanned trip to somewhere warm with white sand beaches and drinks topped off with little umbrellas, it might be a while before I will be able to wear it swimming. But it never hurts to start shopping for next season early, and when the temperatures finally begin to rise, I will be ready. This is the second bikini I’ve received from this brand recently; both bikinis exceeded my expectations- especially this one. It has so many unexpected details, and overall is truly a beautiful, feminine style. I ordered this bikini in large, and I chose the pink and white stripes. The top of the bikini has a fantastic silhouette. It’s shaped somewhat like a balconette bra or a a bit like a bandeau. Rather than using triangle cuts, or essentially being structured like a tank top, the fabric covers the bust line while keeping that area lifted and supported. It’s a very flattering cut, it provides plenty of coverage to a large number of different bust sizes, without sacrificing its style or youthful look. The straps come in the form of individual ties on both sides, front and back. They offer a bit of additional customization in terms of how tightly or loosely they can be tied, and can either be knotted at the top or tied into bows. Besides the functional aspects they supply, aesthetically, it’s a very sweet and feminine detail. The bottom half of the bikini has a high waisted silhouette, with the legs having a mid cut. This is the part of my body that I am the least comfortable with, so I’m personally happy that this also provides a good amount of coverage, without going overboard. The fabric both pieces are made from is very soft while being substantial. Both the top and bottom pieces are lined, and on the top there are removable, lightly padded cups to either add additional coverage or give more structure and shape to the bust. Between the top layer of fabric, and the lining underneath, there is absolutely no transparency while the bikini is worn, even once it’s wet. The top layer of fabric is thick enough that it could stand on its own if the lining had not been added, but it is ideal to have both layers. It provides more peace of mind. The pink color of this bikini is a brighter, more vibrant pink, closer to fuchsia. It looks incredible paired with white. I didn’t have any issues with the fit of either piece. The large fit me well in the bottoms. The top was a bit too big, but still wearable, especially with the extra padding. This is such an adorable bikini; its design makes it flattering on a variety of body types. If planning a winter getaway somewhere warm, or if simply thinking ahead to next spring and summer; this is a swimsuit you will not regret having! Read more

This item was a gift for my significant other. The following is her review. The suit provides minimal support. For women who need security for active movement (like swimming or handling kids), the current construction is inadequate. It would be significantly better with adjustable, non-tie straps and more structured internal support (such as underwire or a built-in shelf bra). The ties are a major design flaw for active use. I worry about them coming undone while swimming, which is a significant safety and confidence concern. I suggest making the ties purely decorative and securing the fit with adjustable hardware elsewhere. Also, on my body shape, the suit did not feel genuinely high-waisted. The rise seemed shorter than advertised, which affected the overall comfort and desired silhouette. This is a cute option for static activities like reading by the pool. However, if you are looking for a suit for vigorous swimming or actively playing with children, this will not provide the necessary security or support. Read more
