Arrived on time. Fits great, material is ok for the price. Wears very comfortable and is not too long. I could wear these pants all year. Pockets are fairly deep. It stretches well. Not thick enough for very cold wear yet thin enough for summer comfort despite of its velvety feel. Would definitely purchase again. I ordered these for a Christmas party. I ordered the size recommended by Amazon and it fit perfectly. The pants have pockets which is a nice surprise! The pants were the perfect length for me wearing flats which means they will probably be too long for most people and need to be hemmed. Smooth inside which is comfortable. I wouldn't call them velvet I'd call them more of a velour. They have a bit more shine to them than I think velvet would. They're not very thick either but they weren't expensive pants. I have not washed them yet. Tag says machine wash tumble dry low. I'll probably hang them to dry because they are 95% poly & 5% elastine. I can't see that putting him in a tumble dryer would be good for either one of those and they should hang dry quickly. Pleased for the price. Saw another review where they arrived with a hole in the seam. I checked all of the seams on these carefully and have no holes seems are all very even and well sewn. I removed the tie at the waist because the entire waist is elastic and I didn't want the lump of the bow. Wore a shirt untucked. Very nice dressy wide leg pants for a decent price. Read more

So the fabric is amazing, beautiful color peacock blue too and soft, thick, and not cheap looking. But... I bought a small, given that I am 5'2" and normally around a size 2 in women's pants -- small but curvy so sometimes a 4. These are literally massive on me although labeled small. I am going to try hemming them SIX INCHES (that is how "too long" they are) although they are still voluminous. Which is too bad because I love the look of them and would otherwise buy another pair in another color. I won't return them because they are for a trip, as travel pants, and I don't have time now to find another pair. But caveat emptor, these run incredibly large. these pants are most certainly NOT velvet or velour--they are a thick, heavy polyester fabric with no "nap" as velvet/velour have... the weight of the fabric makes the pant drape beautifully on the body and down the legs--they are quite nice and dressy--BUT THEY ARE **NOT** VELVET OR VELOUR!! i ordered these pants because i wanted elastic waist, drawstring-style CASUAL pants made of velvet...these are NOT it were these wrongly sent? i don't know, but frankly, i cannot believe i'm the only one complaining about the lack of velvet in a "velvet" pant! soooo...maybe...? hey, vendor! did you send me the wrong pants???? and, whatcha gonna do about that?
