Fantastic for the price. Extremely bright, my garage has the power of 1000 suns now. It looks awesome, install was easy, just got a ton of 1in spacers from lowes to lower it to clear my garage door brackets. I replaced my existing garage lights with outlets, so these work off of the old light switch. x2 of the 14 hex was the perfect size for my 20ft x 30ft garage. Read more

The light segments in this kit are the cheap plastic housings, not the nice extruded aluminum ones I've seen on other models. They will work together though, which is a positive. As with others, assembly is easy and mounting is straight forward. You will have to assemble them as you hang them, as hanging an assembled unit of more than a few segments is difficult. The included mounting hardware is a little cheap, but I used my own anchors. I do appreciate that they include both a pigtail for hard wiring or plugging into an outlet. Read more

This is pretty cool looking but not great for illumination. It's 7000K color temperature, so the light is quite purplish and looks dimmer than it really is because of it. It's more of an accent lighting than an illumination lighting. Be prepared to get actual lights for working on stuff in your garage and this just for ambiance. Read more

This set comes with what feels like everything you need to make a workshop (or garage) truly "fully" lit. These lights are bright enough that they illuminate everything without being so bright as to blind you; they cast shadowless light due to the distributed nature of them, and look good to boot. I really appreciate the addition of a bare power cable which can be wired directly into a wall - most other sets assume you'll install a socket, and only have a two-prong cord. They also include clips to hold up the bars, which aren't strictly necessary but are probably helpful when installing, since the construction is a bit floppy when assembled (by nature - not due to the product quality). Also, these lights are compatible with at least "DAKASON" and "Euplong" brands; they slot right into those connectors, and are powered from the same style plug. Some other brands will have different stickers but so far, no problems with mixing multiple sets. These are advertised as 7000k - for better or worse, they're not (noticeably, to my eyes) different from any other sets that are sold as 6500k. Read more
